  1. no problem, i put a new one on mine then sold the car soon after so traded it in with the old one and minus the lexus taxdisc holder also - gave the keyrings to dr barrie as a thankyou for some wheels and not got round to ebaying the other bits yet - hardly worth it for what they are new
  2. oem ones are £36 from lexus !"! shiney shiney
  3. jollyroger makes a good point - if you need to get at the ciggy lighter its real easy on the 200/300,, just use a tiny screwdriver and lever up the chrome bit round the gearknob next to your knee from what i remember
  4. just print out your cover note they send you by email and tax it at any post office
  5. if youve had the car a while and this shaking has just started please be very careful ,, could be a tyre bulging or split, wheel coming undone or anything more or less serious,, get it checked asap
  6. holy thread ressurection !!! - love the nice squeel comment !! pump em more and theyll squeel even better
  7. I Think the sony satnavs are good for this install primarily because they power on and off with the ignition
  8. yours is tte so i presume has a piggyback ecu which could explain why it wont work with your car plasticmc - it worked fine with mine
  9. also the additional weight of a rear boot spoiler can be a factor
  10. no 43 with recent disquals unfortunately - cleaned up a bit now as its £1400 per year fully comp on a £9k discovery
  11. i bought a 200 just cos i love the shape, style and feel - couldnt go for a 300 at the time as licence was endorsed so 300 would of been a costly car - was going to upgrade to a 300 (like whiteys) when my licence cleaned up but the 200 prooved too small so went for another marque instead - it was purely insurance decision for me as i was paying £2600 per year just to drive a 200 tpft
  12. i ordered off him a few times - fast delivery and quality good - quite a few others on here are also running with parts from here although they havent said so on this thread
  13. on ebay lots of us got them from "AUTOPROCHASSIS"
  14. good luck with it rajesh - back on the road soon then - post up when its all done and try to get the recon people to tell you what part actually failed on your box if possible - i doubt youll get far with lexus but information will be the key if you do
  15. i had mine done at wim twice - problems not rectified unfortunately ,,,, lexus brighton had the geo sorted for me straight away,,, my advice is stick to main dealer (mine was an is200)
  16. rajesh - you cant tell the mileage on a gearbox ive asked about and you ought to be able to get it fitted for between £150 - £350 depending on if you can get mates rates or pay a mobile mechanic to come and do it. The 30 day warrenty is useful as long as you get the gearbox fitted as soon as its delivered so you would have plenty of time to drive the car and test for a problem,,, everyone says you have been really unlucky to get a duff autobox so shouldnt happen twice - MSC also has a good autobox he will sell
