Cannot remember if it changes colour. I thought the symbol comes on when it has a signal and off when it doesn't.
Make sure you don't have anything on the rear shelf as the aerial is there and you will restrict the signal.
What version of CD do you have?
Hi Pete,
You may want to ask your question on the US rather than UK forums. In the UK Lexus have extended the warranty on the CD player due to problems. Not sure about in the US or even if it uses the same unit.

No you cannot do this on an IS200. You need and OBD-II scan tool to see any stored error codes.
The Altezza still has the old system because it isn't exported to other countries that require OBD-II to be fitted.
not sure abt that! Wouldnt be surprised if it has been modified!
Probably the mods that are causing high emissions rather than a fault O2 sensor. Also make sure the air filter and MAF sensor are clean.
This is for all the auto transmissions used in Lexus models. There are warning notices about this within the owners manuals. Others oils can also damage the seals within the gearbox.
Get a sport. The new ones (when they become available) will have the LE wheels and full leather.
If you like the colour of the LE have a look at the new standard IS colour Antimony, looks similar.
Had a look on the web. You can get the switch in the US for around $10. Retail is $26-30.

Lets hope it is just the switch and not actually low oil pressure, maybe you should get it tested.
Lexus dealers do seem keen to replace brake discs. Do they actually need replacing? Is the water pump leaking or just have a bit of old coolant around it - some leak a little and then are fine.
Friends have them. Backup lots of their games so you don't have to use any discs, they have movies on them, stream movies from the PC, have 100's on MP3s etc.
