  1. Dont understand The point of paying the £80 is that they do ALL the paperwork for you - you dont need to take it anywhere - get the docs through, put new plates on, thats it

    sent today, thanks
  10. Mike, Why? What does all this do? I like the blue, it would go welll with my car
  11. Hear, hear. There can be a lot of snootiness when it comes to polish makes, B) but to be honest, the colour magic stuff is really good. I read somewhere that bodyshops hate it, cause of the silicone thats in it. Well Megiuars NXT is silicone based and I use that a lot too. And I dont intend crashing the car in the near future so i wont be near any bodyshops. Go on try it, you know you want to. just pour it into an empty Autoglym bottle if it suits. B)

Steve, Can I just send a cheque to the address shown? - my email system is down for the forseeable future so I dont know if I have received the payment details through. Thanks
  13. The following findings are likely to be controversial, but controversy is good, cause it stimulates debate. I have tried all the wax/polishes, within reasonable cost, including Mer, Zymol, Autoglym, Meguiars and they seem quite good. With all my previous cars, I have always had a bottle of Turtle Wax Colour Magic to hand . So I thought I would try it out. Well, the shine was fantastic, it was dark and glossy and was the easiest wipe on/ wipe off polish I have. Even more controversial was that it was Halfords own make and not TurtleWax. I rotate its use with my Meguiars stuff. I will post some pics when I work out how to do so, so have Raybans at the ready....... Colour Magic has always worked best on dark colours. Used it for years without any negatives that people keep on coming up with. Sorry :shutit:
  14. Your Lexus Dealer will pick the car up for you, if it suits......
  15. No, Strathcarron Blue, then Astral Black and I also like the controversial Scarletti red......
  16. You'll have to speak to Toyota - 17 digit chassis numbers have identifying years of make in them, but not the japanese shortened versions.
  17. Anyone got a Snooper S3 Neo? Any good? Ebay have some for sale at £120. The company that are selling them are called Montys of Sheffield, a LEXUS franchise!! Bizarre.... Would they do discount for LOC members do you think?? Cheers
  18. Out of all the relplies given, this is the statement that says it all, for me. I bought the IS300 because of this. If I wanted performance. I would buy a Civic TypeR - or economy, a diesel - or both, a Skoda Fabia vRS. But I wanted something different - no-one in my county has a car like mine, and I have never, ever seen an IS300 with TTE Kit on the road. LEXUS build luxury vehicles for a limited market. BMW don't - they appeal to the mass market.
  19. Mike, Did it, easypeesy. When I started the car up, I almost put the car into the wall, when I touched the accelerator, before I got used to it!! The pick up is very good. No 'lag' anymore. A good mod all round.
  20. HAve read the IS forum, and I think your use of a rubber hose seems far better than their hard plastic effort. The rubber hose will absorb somoe of that vibration - genius. Going to be a complete ar** Mike - where did you get the radiator hose?? :duh:
  21. A quality presentation - I have no idea how it works but will try it soon.
  22. I am no longer reading this topic, as it is clearly for millionaires.......
