  1. Nice! Appears to be under general settings for the Premium Nav
  2. Not sure if this might be a solution but it should be formatted to FAT32. as far as I'm aware MS-DOS can mean to be FAT16 or FAT32
  3. Ok I found it. It's under general settings and then system time or something
  4. What do you mean by time on the satnav? It doesn't have a clock AFAIK? The analogue one is pretty easy to set as I'm sure you are aware. The only other thing I can recommend is to go settings and then general
  5. Not sure you would find the CT sporty. Id be suggesting a good long test drive as its not the most sportiest car. Its designed to be quiet and pampered in town or on long journeys. The IS250 would be a sportier buy in all honesty.
  6. I always park far away or in child spaces (with kids obviously). I never try to fit it in any spaces I think are too small either - otherwise some nut is bound to try and get out of his car and prang the doors. Luckily have not had a single incident in over 4 years.
  7. You should be pleasantly surprised by the "CVT" in the Lexus which is actually not really a conventional CVT anyway. The Juke CVT is genuinely horrid down to the fact that the 1.6l engine is too noisy and the CVT tries to act like a gearbox in that it changes gears, very odd! The one in the Lexus is smooth as silk - honestly you won't notice it much unless accelerating very hard.
  8. Try using a finger nail to remove it, mine came off just like that and after applying fallout remover it's not come back.
  9. Oh **** mate I know what's caused that! Super eager valeters using a heavy dilution of All purpose cleaner and a steamer on the roof lining!!
  10. Found a video with LED lights in POV mode. Go around 5:18 mark for pitch black road. Much Much better than the HID headlights on the UK IS300h
  11. My RX ones (same as the IS ones btw) have no rust on them. You should check out the Mercedes lug nuts lol, they rust completely! They did have some brown bits on it but it appears it was a bit of fallout that needed removing, most likely from the brakes. Hit it with some fallout remover and it was gone.
  12. Jag build quality on the F-pace didn't impress though, poor quality of materials IMO. The NX200t is good but the fact that it can't be had with memory seats and HUD is just plain odd
  13. Id be inclined to check thule before getting one from the dealer. Ive never had roof bars fitted so no idea what kind of pricing to expect
  14. In the grand scheme of SUV's however, the RX is rather good value for money in all honesty. Considering the RX Luxury comes with a awesome spec list and is £50k it takes some beating in the value for money stakes. The X5 hybrid will be atleast £60k if not more with the same amount of kit added on to it. Opinion? You mean fact I assume? SUV's sell more than estates - a quick and by no means comprehensive (or reliable for that matter) check on Autotrader shows 52643 SUV's and "only" 31422 estates.
  15. Hope you didn't pay for that boot liner?!! I always agree on a price and then say "oh wait, I need a boot liner" and they're like "yeah that'll be £___". So of course I just say "screw that then, I'll go elsewhere". Works every, single, time!! Hmm can't remember seeing my IS ones move on startup at night either hmm. I think you may have a faulty sensor for the auto wipers
  16. Im not too sure, looks a bit aftermarket! I'd assume the lines dont turn around with the steering wheel either? Probably should have gone for Luxury spec!
  17. Not if they didn't fit it properly. I had the windscreen on my previous RX changed after a 5cm wide rock hit it at 70mph and put a 30cm crack in it. After that the auto wipers didnt work like before. So yes, as mentioned check that the windscreen hasn't been replaced by looking for the Lexus emblem. Then, make sure the green LED is on and put the sensitivity to the middle. Chuck some water on it from outside (the rain sensor is on the passenger side) to check if it is actually working. However having said that, they do seem to struggle in very light drizzle but work perfectly in normal rain.
  18. Im not too sure. The ones on my RX are definitely the best Ive had in any car so far. The added bonus that they noticeably swivel is great as well on country roads at night
  19. Didn't realise Jason Gregory was at Leeds. He moves around alot between Bradford and Leeds. He gave me a good deal on the RX back in 2004! Even delivered for free lol
  20. I can see it in the rear view mirror when it's on and it's not great for whoever sits in the middle as it comes across at an awkward angle. Kids complained it catches on their neck. Also, it's fiddly to use. Can't figure out why they just didn't use a conventional setup for the belt, if it's not broke don't try to fix it!!
  21. I also agree. The throw isn't great on the IS I also don't care what the spec sheet says in terms of lumens. LED headlights are awesome. Go down the motorway in the IS at 65mph and watch those dazzling white LEDs from the Audi's, Mercs and Lexus light up the road.
  22. I call BS. Every car I have been in with LED headlights has been awesome to the point of people moving out of your lane on motorways at night almost immediately LEDs on my RX, on the NX, on the RCF and now on the GS are way better at night than the IS headlights
