  1. Hopefully this should be finished sometime this summer. Probably the nearest I will get to an SC. Does anyone else think im bonkers?
  2. I have a Lexus and a job. both legit [ish] and im a scouser. Is there something im doing wrong? :P
  3. Before you start getting a bad back from lifting off that big long cylinder head, is it worth checking that your engine oil was up to the job and was there in the right quantity. This plays a major part in cooling as well as lubricating
  4. I had a similiar problem with my Supra. When I stripped the seat, it was nothing more than a locating bolt that had fallen out but trapped itself within the seat assembly. I put it back together and everything was fine :D
  5. Nice wheel centres and calipers mate. Spill the beans on how you put pics on the message board. I've bin tryin for ages
  6. I believe the BBC have signed him up to host the new series of, "Have I got news for you" :P :P :P
  7. Just added a few pics from sundays meeting. sunday shots
  8. I've managed to sort it now. It was so obvious but I never thought of looking. The passenger side airbag was missing. :(
  9. I must say this and I hope you all take it the right way. I've been a member of a one make car club for the last 12 years. Not namin them but the second part of my name on here is a big clue. I love those cars with a passion and have done ever since my dad brought one home when I was just an ickle boy. I've fixed em, restored em, broke em, rebuilt the wonderful V8 in em for people and made a part time living from them [and even learn't to spell "them" correctly] but whenever I go to a club meet, the noses seem to be held very high. The majority of them wont look at my car cos its modified and they consider it sacriledge. The icing on the cake is when they hear the Liverpool accent and scatter off to lock there wheeltrims on. Sunday. I must admit, I expected pretty much the same reaction from you guys cos after all, im representing the other end of Lexie ownership with my bad panel fit and Stevie wonder paint job, not to mention my wonderful rear window sticker. It was nice to be proved wrong. Next time I wont book the damaged wheel and stay all day. Thanx again guys. :D By the way Matt, Its paul
  10. Well it started off great. For some strange reason i had the desire to look at skodas but i guess thats another story. After I left the lexus place I went for a quick nosey around the shops at Cheshire oaks. I couldn't find a good parking place and then I noticed the NSX was following me. Doh. I must apologise for not seeing you sooner. Anywhose, when I noticed the Honda, I headed back to TGI's and met you all again. Parked the car and did a bit of this and that. Went round the back of the car and noticed a flat tyre. Decided to shoot off to a local repairers rather swap it over. Got to a local Quick Rip and told them the tale but told them I didn't need new shocks and an exhaust, just the puncture fixing. They said Ok and took the wheel off..... and then the shock....... no Puncture........Just a bent rim...........Doh. When I was driving in the car parks of Cheshire oaks I remember just clipping a kerb but ignored it. Put spare on... went home....cried.....drank jack daniels...cried more. Apart from that, it was great to put names to faces. Hope to see you all again sometime. Ps. Got some piccies to post.
  11. Doh. Better go nick a red carpet in true scouse tradition......along with some wheels and.....etc...etc.... A 595. Phorrr.
  12. An NSX or a Fireblade and I will roll out the red carpet.
  13. Cheers steve. Gonna do my train spotter impression and take some pictures of your LPG if I may..... but im leaving the yellow caggoole [is that how its spelt?] at home...............or maybe in the boot. :P
  14. looks like im going to make it tomorrow. Now please dont laugh [to loud] at my sad Lexter. It represents the the other side of Lexi ownership. The cheap and cheerful side. I know it was sprayed by Stevie wonder and my dearly beloved has added her unique styling marks but my good news is that via an ownership trace by Swansea, I now have [courtesy of the previous owner] a full Lexus service history book stamped up by Bolton and liverpool..... Im sorry but I am well chuffed. :P :P :D :D See ya in morning
  15. I could possibly just see you all at Chester. Depends on tonights beer consumption. Yes, Im from Liverpool but dont worry. Your wheels will be safe.
  16. Jac. The connection for my Brake light was next to the rear centre shelf speaker. It was taped up and had the connection already on it. It was a case of plug and play. :D
  17. sunday is a good day for me, however if we beat the mancs on saturday and my horse wins then I will probably not wake up at all on sunday. :P

  19. Its quite easy to remove. Just make sure you disconnect your battery. The problem you will have is that your warning light will stay on on your dash board and it may affect the operation of the other bag. Not a recomended modification but its your choice.
  20. Does anyone know if, where ,how, what it has one and how easy it is to change if it does? :D
  21. Paul. Speak to stej. He has been running his GS on gas now for quite some time and has not had any problems whatsoever. I guess all the scaremongering that you hear are all from Bodgit and scarper type conversions. Steves has been done really well.
