  1. Hmmmm......some of us still learning. You're now the go to guy then Jamie!
  2. Workshop manuals.....I haven't had one of those for years.....not been available for the last three cars I've owned.
  3. Not all cars are built like a Lexus, not all cars do low mileage prior to their first MOT. And not all drivers look after their cars during this three years period. So, all in all, 3 years I feel is about right, it certainly doesn't need extending
  4. I have a Bose cinema system, OK, but not gob smacking brilliant. You have to understand the set-up in the Bose shop is professionally tuned, in a room without the normal soft furnishings that absord sound, so I don't think it will sound the same once you get it home. You have more tune-ability with separates if you have the room and the wife allows. There are better systems out there unles you want an all-in-one, which is handy and suits a lot of people that are badge conscious.
  5. Why do you think you need these wind deflectors? To deflect wind? I'm not aware of a wind issue. Or for cosmetic/mod reasons?
  6. No, don't have it, the satellite switch has: park assist, speed and tachometer setting only. Nevermind
  7. I'll have a look Steve, not overly bothered if I don't have it. It seems to cause more issues that it's worth
  8. I think I'm getting confused regarding the answers to the OP's question. The OP wants mirrors that close when leaving the car, if his don't, he needs the kit, as mentioned. Cars built after 2010 have the option? My 2011 doesn't as far as I know, they close and open manually, but not automatically. confused.com.
  9. I think he IS saying they are the same car, different badging, similarly to the Citigo, Mii and Up👍
  10. Getting there I think think we should leave the poor lad alone.
  11. Nice one Edward, put on my wish list for the spring.
  12. As Steve said Iftikhar. Its very hard work reading your posts, they're interesting and valid, but very hard work @Shahpor, it needs a bit more work than that to make it readable.
  13. You're dead right there, the Vauxhall main dealer in Wakefield, on the very odd occasion I had to visit, had the most miserable, morose and unhelpful staff I have ever come across. I told one advisor to stick a part where the sun don't shine after getting fed up of his tutting, sighing and the shaking of his head. The Lexus dealer in Bradford were polar opposite. I have only spoke to them on the phone. They were so chatty and polite I couldn't get off the phone
  14. I quite like them, I put some to my Alfa and thought they looked great. I don't think they look cheap, or boy racer-ish, as someone pointed out to me. A lot of supposed up market cars have them fitted as standard. Its your car, get on with it.
  15. I can't believe people don't have their climate control on all the time. You're just fighting dampness in the car and condensation on the windows with it off. As several have mentioned it make a negligible difference to the mpg and not using it will cause it to prematurely break. And please be careful taking the pollen filter out, use the correct procedure.
  16. Surprised me a bit. I was checking it over when I first got it and thought I would check the callipers. When I found they would not pivot out of the way I thought there must be another way of removing them, they were so solid. I had to knock seven bells out of them with a large rubber mallet to get them to move, and I did frigging hit them. As I said above, they will be looked at in a couple of months.
  17. 36,000 miles on mine, not missed a beat. Did all brake callipers when I first got it (Nov 2014) after doing research on this site, the pivots were well stuck, they will be looked at this spring when I do a service. All the issues mention on this thread are really service items that you can report on any car.
