  1. I thought the same and started looking for 18" wheels on the Lexus website but no RX seems to come with that size anymore.
  2. Home charge an EV in minutes or at a supercharger station in seconds.. (Might be a few years off yet ) https://www.independent.co.uk/tech/quantum-battery-breakthrough-latest-energy-b2165278.html
  3. These are the manufacturer's recommended pressures and one must experiment if one finds the ride unacceptable or the tyre wears unevenly. Personally I have always found the recommended pressures have worked fine for me and my driving style. I also have the 20" wheels and have left the pressures at the recommended 2.3 bar, I don't see myself travelling at 100mph for any extended periods, if at all (officer!). Tread wear appears even on what I presume are the original tyres, so time will tell. Hopefully an all season tyre will become available before they need replacing.
  4. It's on ATS Euromaster website that I first spotted it. As Michelin is their parent company I contacted them (Michelin) directly for confirmation and have been advised Michelin do not currently offer the CC2 in the 235/55/20 size.
  5. First line 160kph~ is for speeds above 160kph the second ~160kph for speeds up to 160kph
  6. It's a fact of driving unfortunately. If one uses the car it's inevitable one will collect a chip or two.
  7. No idea what those two letter codes mean but the paint unique identifier is the three characters at the end
  8. Are you sure it's the map ID it's asking for? When I registered my multimedia system it asked for the media ID and on my RX the Lexus link recognised the system from the VIN. Have you verified (your ownership of) the vehicle by using the code on your V5 doc?
  9. Are you certain about this last statement? If one signs an order and pays a deposit doesn't that set the price you pay, irrespective of how long it takes to deliver? Otherwise less than scrupulous traders could just delay the delivery to their advantage. What may change due to delivery delays is the cost of VED, which is determined by the list price in force on the date of first registering the car, which obviously would be once it reaches the dealership.
  10. Is your next service a major one? IIRC suspension geometry is checked as part of the service (was on my RC). Obviously if anything needs adjusting they would advise and it would be an extra charge
  11. As suggested above check the Customisation section of your handbook, page 434. Only the dealer can change the setting to only unlock/open the tailgate, leaving the doors locked.
  12. It is possible, check the Customization (sic) section page 484 of your handbook. If you don't have one download it from the Lexus website https://www.lexus.co.uk/owners/about-my-lexus/manuals It will have to be changed by your dealer or someone with Techstream (as I posted above)
  13. According to my handbook (2020) under the Customisation section the dealer (or someone with Techstream) can disable the door open warning buzzer. You can turn down the tailgate warning beep yourself using the options in the cluster display, I ve done this set to it's lowest setting is still plenty loud enough to act as a warning it's operating. I don't think one can do anything about the window open warning though, at least not on the 2020 model
  14. The procedure is automated in the RX (2020) - Raising the wipers to the service position Within approximately 40 seconds of turning the power switch off, move the wiper lever to the ^ position and hold it for approximately 2 seconds or more. The wipers will move to the service position.
  15. Do you expect to keep the car for many years because you won't see any of that money come sale/trade-in time
  16. Such a new model, you may struggle but one of the go to places is https://www.amayama.com/en/part/toyota/6862253010?currency=826&q=
  17. IIRC the map updates are free for the first 3 years only and chargeable thereafter. Do you have the Lexus Link app and have an online account? You can check the map updates you have already had (OTA?) and what subscription is active
  18. The question has been asked numerous times and no way has been found so far, not even via Techstream.
  19. Only had my RX a couple of weeks but I will stick with the recommended pressures as shown on the driver's door pillar namely 2.3 bar all round
  20. Only had my RX a couple of weeks but I will stick with the recommended pressures as shown on the driver's door pillar namely 2.3 bar all round
