    The TPMS sensor codes numbers need entering into the car's system via Techstream or equivalent. I assume that Lexus will know this but the local guys may not have the appropriate system to do this.

    I understand how this can happen. I just touched the rear of my LC on a parking space sign post which was not picked up by the sensors (and not easily visible). Fortunately, I was only just about moving so it was a quick polish to remove the slight mark in the paint and all was well. It is easily done.

    It is interesting that most commentators say they noticed little difference in mpg between E10 and E5 at first. You have had much longer experience than most and have noticed a change. Is this because the ECU "learns" about the new fuel over time? I know it isn't just a dumb algorithm as it adapts to your driving style.

    I position my LC in the middle of a double garage (so I can get out!) and use house bricks on a carpet to act as the stop at the front. I can generally get position to within 2 cm using this scheme as I have found the tennis ball on a string method to be a bit hit and miss with no firm stop point. The NX sits on the drive...

    Yes, as above, manually check the pressures and see if they correspond to the inbuilt display. Don't forget that these cars have run-flat tyres so you might not notice a low pressure one by eye. Do you have the 20 inch or 21 inch wheels?

    When I test drove a 350h before placing my order, I noted 48mpg on my fairly modest and reasonable slow trundle round so, yes, I would expect this kind of mileage from the new car. An 8 to 10mpg improvement over the NX300h is pretty good,

    On hybrids you can leave them switched on in "P" on your drive and they will self manage the low voltage battery charging. Lexus recommend about 1 hour per week when standing unused but this is probably more than enough charging to keep everything in order. The low voltage battery is charged via a DC/DC converter from the traction battery which is about 50A rating. You don't have to drive anywhere.

    The centre of Salisbury (close to where I live) is a 20mph zone and has been for years. It is not strictly policed - by cameras or otherwise - and acts as a warning to drivers of the higher hazard density and to take extra care rather than a strict limit. I think this is a good model rather than the camera enforced revenue raising schemes which many want to see.

    Also take into account wind direction and speed. In Hampshire the prevailing winds are south westerly so, in general, the wind will be behind you going to London and against you going back to Hampshire.

    Yes, we ordered a NX350h in mid-May and were given an estimated delivery of 14 months.

    The problem with the concept of an LC-F is what is the target market? It would be too expensive for the boy racers and those more mature individuals who could afford it have already got their "luxury coupe" which is fast enough for them. There is little point in Lexus making a model which will have very small sales. However, these parts may be for some electric variant which might get built as a halo car replacement.

    Yes, I could see availability being an issue. As your car is "brand new" I should get the screen and paint done via Lexus. It might cost more but on a £100K car...

    @BrettMRC Is your the one I saw at Hedge End a few wees ago? I thought it looked different to mine having the fixed spoiler.

    When I had an Aston DB9, I changed the tyres from the standard Bridgestone Potenza to Michelin PSS (the predecessor to the PS4s). The improvement in ride was immense even though both were non-runflats. My LC500 has Bridgestone Turanza tyres as standard.

    Has anyone changed their tyres on their LC500? If so what brand/type did you fit and how is the outcome?

    We bought a black Stewart potting up tray from the garden centre for about £8. This fits neatly into the gap between the wheel arches against the back seat. We hold it in place with a bungy strap between the two forward chrome loops. It works well and there is still room for a weekend case in the boot. 🙂

    Yes, we have had a look at it in the showroom. It is a very good combination as the silver tones down the Flare Red seats. However, we are not going to swap our coupe for it.

    Thanks very much for your efforts. The same issue seems to apply to the UX. If you click on the link provided in the e-mail it opens the same online "price list" but does not provide a pdf download. Oh well...

    Unfortunately, neither of these things work on the NX brochure. There is a button at the bottom of the left menu for "offline" but it appears to do nothing. The e-mail option just sends the link to the online page. Interestingly, the brochure for the ES is in a downloadable PDF format and works fine.

    As you can see from the screenshot, I am using Chrome on Win 10. There is no download icon or black menu bar. Puzzling.
