  1. Have you had your windscreen replaced lately ? I know IS200's can get problems after replacing Hopefully some of the boys will be along soon to give you a few other possibilities to look at :)
  2. Congratulations Stuart - she's absolutely gorgeous :D
  3. Hi Wayne, I'm afraid you need to be a gold member to sell anything on the forums ..... sorry
  4. janey

    Jae? Anyone?

I'm afraid there is no LOC stand at JAE Esref, though I'm sure there are quite a few members going with other clubs so if you're going along I'm sure there will be plenty of 'Lexi' to look at & other owners to compare notes with :) Hopefully with new interest in meets etc LOC will have a presence in the future, possibly by teaming up with another club in 2014 so all hope is not lost :D
  5. It's probably worth putting it up on the LOC facebook group too Stuart as I think there's quite a few people there who aren't necessarily on any of the other forums or FB groups :D
  6. If you can't get a definitive answer your best bet is to get the 'cube' one like this as it has a variety of configurations on it - I know we have used the same one for various cars :D
  7. Guys can we please keep things civil, throwing insults around gets us nowhere and the last thing I want to do is close & edit half the topic Kiss & make up eh
  8. Hi Andy, The very helpful Tigerfish's post in this thread may help :D if not I'm sure someone will be along soon to help out
  9. You need one of these :winky: available for the grand sum of £3.45 here
  10. Cost maybe better but be aware that you may get stung on customs charges
  11. Hi, welcome & good luck with the search Dan :D
  12. Hi Jon, I think the closest LOC meet to you which is planned at the mo is at Bluewater which would mean M23-M25, details are here In the past there have been a few at Brighton so feel free if you fancy having a go at organising something in your area & popping it in the meets section as I'm sure there must be quite a few members in your area who would jump at the chance of a good meet :D
  13. No one is hurt thank god. The airbags worked quite well...with the exception that the passengers one broke the windscreen, who though it was a good idea for it to go upwards? It's not UK, insurence works differently. You have the mandatory one which only covers you if it wasn't your fault, or covers the damage done to someone elses car. You can purchase full cover for the car which would cover, at least partially, cases like this but it was quoted to me as twice the price of the car. with me being as "rich" as I am it wasn't really an option. It's not just the money, is200 are really rare over here, I'm already thinking of ordering parts from UK, it will be cheaper even with postage. Too bad I'm broke as hell at the moment... Obviously going off topic a bit here but from what I understand at home you have a majority of '3rd Party' insurance's - fully comprehensive is not very common and as you say very expensive. I did have to laugh though as I found this below - good job you were in a Lexus & not a BMW, though a Ford or Merc seems to go unnoticed
  14. Try copying the location but take off the .html at the end so it just ends in jpg (not sure if it will work but worth a try) :)
  15. Come on boys - play nicely Lets feel the not :mat:
  16. Sadly we have to announce that Tony Goose passed away suddenly at home during the weekend 9 - 10 Mar 13 aged just 46. Tony had been an active and valued member here on LOC since December 2001 and a moderator since September 2009 and though he was living and coping well with Multiple Sclerosis, he was seemingly unaware that he had developed heart and circulation problems from which he was to succumb. Tony's brother Steve has informed us that Tony's funeral is to be held at the Seven Hills Crematorium between Ipswich and Felixstowe on Monday 25 March at 3.45 pm and anyone wishing to attend is more than welcome We will be sending a wreath on behalf of LOC and will be speaking to Steve Goose regarding a charity collection in Tony's memory. I'm sure a lot of members have fond memories of Tony from over the years (I know I have) so please feel free to share them and remember him here
  17. Congratulations I'm sure you will both enjoy it, and I must say what a super husband you must be :D
  18. If it's got an uprated intercooler I'd guess it's 60mm I'd say looking at the photo (presumably that's your car) that it was owned by a LOC member so maybe a few more photo's will help someone recognise it, or if there is a previous name on your reg doc someone maybe able to give you a definitive answer :)
  19. So do we need to start talking in txt spk too ? I know some forums have a variety of them such as 'like' 'dislike' 'thanks' & I think the best one I've seen is 'kick the poster'
  20. The white looks brilliant & really makes the most of the wheels :D It's called 'sticker bombing' & some people have gone a bit crazy on it
  21. Brilliant :D Can't wait to see progress, you'll be amazed at how much weight is in stuff like roof linings etc Loving #6 on the list
  22. I can't recommend anywhere but I will say choose your re-furbisher carefully, I'm losing count of the amount of wheels I'm seeing with the back plate powder-coated. This can melt under brake-heat and you'll end up with the wheel nuts loosening and the worse scenario of losing a wheel (or 2) whilst driving :shutit:
  23. It's seriously annoying that there are ways round it especially when it something you are genuinely interested in - though no where near as annoying as the bloody 'sniper' thing that bids for you in the last 10th of a second.... that should be banned (sorry - one of my pet hates on fleabay )
