the rear of my car stepped out the other day, on a minor bend doing about 30mph dordaling along i couldnt believe it. it was fun though :D

hi, yes this is normal and does take some getting used to, you need to change gear around 3000 revs and hold the clutch down slighlty longer and it becomes smooth as silk, i had the same problem when i bought mine but it goes away the more you drive it and alter your style.

If the initial question had been " Are lexii the best overall cars you have owned " i think on the whole most of us would have said yes. like someone said earlier its easy to pick little faults with anything we own but unless something goes wrong we just accept it and say nothing, we rarely shout about how good things are. come to think of it my tele has never let me down in 10 years now where can i find the sony website to let them know :P

i swapped my 53 plate golf 2.8 4 motion with 2300 miles on the clock for my is200 and its the best thing i ever did. if want to see some horrifying customer service and reliability issues just look at the vw golf site its littered with complaints. Most by me i must add :D

On a similar topic can i ask a question ??? can i put a K & N air filter in place of my standard filter on my is200se, and will it affect any warranty claims as they are not a standard part ??

Just finished watching it. I have to say that was the best show ever. It actually featured cars that most normal people can afford for a change and left the supercars out of it. The porsche story had me rolling on the floor, it was brilliant

Hankook Ventus Sport k104 there £64.10 each delivered to your door in 215/45/17 i was looking at these last week on www.mytyres.co.uk now the reviews i read said they were very good and seemed comparable to the bridgestones fitted by lexus but quieter .. so unless anything else comes up in the meantime they will be going on my car next at that price

I couldnt agree more with the comments about keeping model changes to a minimum. if you make such a great car like the is200 then why change it every year or two. the current shape of the lexus is still beautiful and turns heads every time we drive them i admit im looking forward to the new model but only because its been so long in the making and im sure its gonna be another success. but i for one hope that lexus dont follow the likes of bmw and others by bringing out new models every year or two that just fill the roads with near identical cars so you have to spend 10 minutes explaining why yours is the newest model and why its different from the last one. PORSCHE have gone completely mad over the last few years with the 911 models. does anyone even know how many new 911`s have been intoduced over the last 5 years, coz ive lost count

Im 6`3" and i have the seat right down and the seat front on its lower setting which makes a big difference. i have no problems with headroom so you must have the seat height incorrectly set. i dont lay back either like im on a luge i sit pretty upright.

my car has the supagard finish which is great and does the job, but because its coming upto winter and looking a bit faded i want to give it a good old fashioned waxxing to make it all shiny again. does anyone know if i can put normal wax on top of the supagard to shine it up again or does it react and turn your car pink has anyone tried it if so what happened oh and another thing is mer polish any good, ive got some left to use up or should i go ang get some different wax

soz i didnt mean you PLEX, when i said bollox i was reffering to the letter from the Staffs police i was reffering to chris`s post when he said they send you a letter saying their gonna seize your car if it seen there again. This power was introduced to curb the groups of car users who gathered in big car parks in towns and villages and caused lots of noise and nuisance by wheel spinning and donuting everywhere, cranking their stereos up to epic proportions bikes doing wheelies all over the place, if your sat in your car parked up chatting to your mates and not making too much noise and not chucking litter all over the place then i cant see any problem and i certainly wouldnt be doing you for it. so like i said before as long as your nice and quiet and being good boys then the police should not get called out to you in the first place. obviously this is all my opinion and not one held by the police as a whole ( my little disclaimer ) so dont qoute me when you see your car being towed away anyway forget what i just said coz its only an offence if your DRIVING in the first place. its not how much law i know its how much i can remember thats the problem

thats a load of bollox, they cant seize your car unless your committing a nuisance offence under section 59 police reform act. ie playing your music REALLY loud , doing donuts in the car park that sort of stuff. they cant take your car away just coz your parked in a carpark on 3 separate occasions. the offence is to harrass or alarm someone whilst driving AND without due care so unless your doing any of that your ok !!!
