    That's right mate, even if the driver is totally at fault and pulls out on a bike doing 70 you still hope no-one gets hurt. Strange impact though, totally T-boned.Usually you'd say the car drivers fault but I know so many bikers who say"he/ she pulled out on me"(i said it myself in my younger days) but when you ask how fast they were riding over the brow of the hill on the blind bend they say "only 90 or 100". Mind you it looks like a 106, the rider could have been doing about 30 for that amount of damage,they're made of cheese and tincans :D .

    That's what the :tsktsk: car driver said. That's shocking, the bike actually looks in better nick than the car, hopefully the rider went over the top and everyone was OK(but I doubt it).

    It could well be the Redex restoring the performance if it hasn't been done for a while. Also it may have been the fuel if you filled up at a different garage. I can get that sort of MPG in my LS too on my 190 mile slog to work if I take it steady with cruise control turned off. Stuff like weather/ air temperature can make a difference too, you may have had the wind in your favour.I would say it was probably the redex and a light right foot though.

    Fo***k, I just noticed that civic That photo wasn't posted earlier was it? Is that the guy who owns it in the shell suit? Man that is so horrible, and the colour ,Aaaarrrgggghhhh!. I hear what you're saying there Jaylist but as an advert you have to say it has impact, if lacking a bit of subtlety. I think the colour is beautiful. That guy with the horrible civic must have felt really cool with the Lexus and Rolls-Royce sitting near his abomination.

    Definitely, i'm well looking forward to getting that but GTA SanAndreas is coming on PC tomorrow so i'll be busy for the next year or so. I've also just downloaded this FREE AmericanArmy Online game (looks promising) and started my training. Come on lads and ladies lets get stuck in, "they don't like it up 'em" bigadz is my username on the American Army online game. Chamone! let's 'Ave it!

    The AA for me, they were doing a good deal at the time. Also many of the the insurance co.'s breakdown cover only covers the insured car. I've never needed it (touch wood) with my Lex or fireblade but my wife's called the AA out 5 or 6 times in a year in her A-class Merc and has had good service every time. Or did she say " a good service"? :D :D

    Thats so P.I.M.P :D I know the purist's would hate it and i'm pretty split about the big wheel arches myself. (obviously for the big wheels) Looks like it's had a lot of money spent on it, what about the Saxo though?(would be good in Milton Keynes with all the roundabouts) and i'm loving the MK1 Escort (my 1st car) the LEX looks pretty nice too :D

    Mine cost about £30 I think to get recoded. I had to remove it myself and take the unit to the repair shop though, which takes a while.

    Welcome to the LOC and the LS400. Gorgeous car mate. That sounds a good deal you got there. I've got a black jade one (or boston green) myself which might be the colour you have. It's black in appearance except for when the sunlight hits it when it's slightly green. The MPG figures you got seem about right too. I can set cruise at 85 on the motorway and get about 25-28MPG on my 190 mile trip to work. When I get out of the car after the journey I feel totally refreshed. Not many other cars do that. Enjoy it ! :D

    He wasn't wearing a shell suit and a curly wig was he? When you got wound up did he say "Eh, camm down, camm down!" Sounds dodgy to me mate. I think you should contact Lexus GB like the other guys recommend.

    I think it looks great from the front but Really nasty from the rear . I'm sure it would look better in a darker colour too as german cars look great in silver but English cars don't in my opinion....... :D

    I'm 99% positive its an aftermarket thing, not a factory one. Theres a red flashing light on the steering column and you have to press the round fob (no markings on it)to make it stop flashing, which can take ages. If anyone knows about these nasty things any advice is welcome.It seems to stop the car by disabling the starter circuit.It works really well as the car's definitely immobilised. It's the only non-lexus thing on the car and it's broke, typical. I've got to drive a people carrier home from Bournemouth to Warminster in a minute.

    I'm gonna cry, my LS won't wake up. Some t*** put a Gemini Falco immobilser on it at some stage which has always been a pain and today its finally packed in. The problem is I can't start it and i'm at work. I'm gonna take a work car home luckily and get it looked at tomorrow. I'm gonna kill that immobilser when it gets removed from my car. Does anyone know how easy a job this is? I've found the unit. It looks cheap and nasty. Please feel sorry for me...

    Gotta agree with Bazza there. Go and have a listen/ look in a car audio place, you can always buy online once you've made your choice.

    Yes, if you have a low quality head unit the noise will be high, so when you amplify it that noise will be amplified too. Obviously with a higher quality player the signal/noise ratio should be better so you'd be amplifying less noise. That red Alpine looks nasty though in my opinion
