  1. So it would seem the Fiesta driver didn't know about the accident blackspot, in which case should he have been travelling between 80 and 100 MPH , 3 up in a Fiesta if he didn't know the road. Either that or the fiesta driver knew the road well and didn't care about the dangers. If i'm honest I still cringe about the stupid things I used to do in my youth in my first cars but i've been LUCKY as have most of us, if we're honest. To me this seems like a tragic accident with an UNLUCKY scapegoat. Based on what evidence i've read so far (which of course may not be all the evidence) I don't think he should have pleaded guilty, but I am fully aware how solicitors can try and persuade you to trust them to do what's best, especially when you're vulnerable and unable to fully think straight.
  2. That's the way, Huggy bear will be fine too once his legs start working again. The first guy's watched too many Jackie chan films I think, he went into windmill master mode . It worked for him though I suppose, i've seen worse. I'm surprised he wasn't dubbing himself in Chinese though. The expert was in a different league though, worked the guy out and used "minimum force" Mint! ;)
  3. Just downloaded google earth, That's amazing! :o
  4. I think there's a sensor which raises the revs when the A/C is turned on, obviously the A/C compressor needs a lot of power so the revs have to compensate. I'm not sure exactly how this is done on the LS though. Have u tried a search on the US forums as they probably use the A/C much more than us lot.Mine actually raises the revs so you actually hear it go up when the A/Ccompressor kicks in. (i've just been out to check) I have a 94 LS too mate and you're spot on , it's a great car. I took mine for the MOT today after 8 months ownership and 12500 miles and it passed straight away. Good luck with your car mate.
  5. Since when have they needed a reason?
  6. Congratulations, all the best to you both. Adz
  7. Yeah, they're quite good, especially in 1st class which I did on my last flight back from Saudi. Singapore Airlines are my favourite, excellent service and awesome totty, not like the trannys you get on BA. :yack: Also the service on AirIndia was very good to NY Don't even get me started on Saudi Airlines!
  8. I've been watching it on Paramount for a couple of months now and think i've seen most of 'em, I absolutely love it. Bubbles rules!
  9. Welcome back Aido/ Bubbles. Hope you're going to be OK. ;)
  10. I would have to say no but obviously it is an ECT auto and the LS has a power and an economy setting ( at least my MK2 does so your MK4 should) Check to see if this is set to normal or PWR, this brings up a light on the dashboard. If set to PWR it should take off quickly in any gear but if not then will be a bit more sedate. I think i'm right in saying that these gearboxes are adaptive too meaning they'll learn your driving style. This can be reset by disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it as far as i'm aware. Don't do anything drastic yet as i'm sure there'll be MK4 owners along to see you right (and correct my BS). Sorry, can't help you there Welcome to the LOC! :D
  11. Nice one Niraj! Congratulations. :D When u fitting the neons ? ;)
  12. Glad you're all OK. I hope you get the car sorted, or get a good price for the write off. I'm no bodywork expert but it looks pretty broken . I did similar to my Astra GTE (piled it in backwards) but the chassis wasn't buckled so it wasn't written off, had it been buckled the bodywork guy said it'd be a write off and to be honest do you want it now it's had chassis damage? Hope it all works out for ya.
  13. I'm really sad now, we had "So amazing" as our wedding song and just missed seeing him in NewYork on our honeymoon. I guess we never will see him now. I'd better break it to the wife. RIP luther
  14. The little :tsktsk: 's! You should have phoned up and said you saw a biker with a small number plate, they'd have got the flying squad there in 2 minutes flat. Why should people be allowed to get away with this? Yeah great isn't it? and the best thing is you can't do anything about it, woohooo!
  15. If he was any good he wouldn't have been put in that situation in the 1st place :duh: . Walk away, sounds like a cowboy (especially trying to start it until the battery goes flat!).
  16. Congratulations! :D ..but I thought all you IS chaps worked in I.T. ;)
  17. I think the voyager 205 IS the one BT send you in the first place, that's the one they sent me anyway. What lights have you got on (on the front?) you haven't lost your USB connection have you? when mine goes tilt it's either that or the diags light illuminates. Both times I turn it off for a few seconds and restart my PC (as Rodders suggested).
  18. No wonder he's called the big Dog he looks huge in that photo, or are they OompaLoompah's stood next to him? :D I'm definitely watching Westwood, what a :tsktsk: ! "Yeah baby, it's going down!" He can't be worse than Mad Mike on the US version, he's got the most irritating voice and he always comes up with an amazing new place to fit monitors . What happens when those cars get back to the hood with 40K of gear in? (Sorry, silly question)
  19. At least we have the freedom of speech to say these things, for now anyway. I was looking forward to coming back to England to live after a few years in the hole that is Saudi but there's a few things which have got much worse in England recently . The power balance has tipped way too far in favour of scumbags and criminals. In the UK though law abiding types have always been the ones to get shafted. We're paying for the governments mistakes and lefty ideals as usual (and I didn't vote for them either) :tsktsk:
  20. I use Flash on my LS400. It makes it look reaaaallly shiny as long as you don't do it in direct sunlight. It's also lasted me longer than it says on the instructions. It does the hard work, so I don't have to. :winky:
  21. That was one scary looking dude, especially when he walked. :o Not as scary as his intellect and thought process though. Come on though guys have a heart, most of these people were mentally handicapped or had downs syndrome, they weren't inbreeds. If you wanna see inbreeding go to Calne in Wilts. I used to be a bouncer there and there's some weird stuff going on. You can't pull a bird unless you can prove you're related to her .
  22. Exactly, why would you put your kids in that position in the first place.(no pun intended) It's obvious it was all about the bejamin's. Also what's the score with that juror saying "Michael Jackson probably has molested boys" after the not guilty verdict. Can't he now be sued by MJ chamone?
  23. Me too! :D :D :D Looks great on me too (obviously) Cheers Steve
  24. I was after one for ages, in the end I bought a cd one off e-bay (which is pretty good) Cheers for that though, someone might be interested. I don't suppose they get used much, maybe that's why Haynes haven't made one. :winky:
