Just back from a few days in Dublin! Say no more. It struck me that they had loads of Lexus Taxis, I saw IS's, GS's and 1 LS. In bournemouth we seem to have a lot of Lexus drivers but no Lexus cabs.

If you are talking about replacing the Master Cylinder Unit, mine was done at a Lexus Dealership and cost me over £2k

Sounds like the Master Cylinder to me, as I had the same issues. If it helps the the high pitched warning can be unplugged its a small unit under the steering wheel on the right hand side. Take the panel off and start her up you will hear it! Feel for you as its not a cheap item.

It is still worth reporting it to the Police, as it has been known for people to worry about the CCTV then go and fess up to the Police so that they don't get done for not reporting an accident. Long shot but who knows. -

Never needed one for the Lex, but have had several for previous cars. I use a company in Bournemouth that recore the original radiator, they have about a 2 day turn round.

Why not just buy a GS430 and trade in the GS300 probably be better than trying to swap engines. You will also get the wooden steering wheel and larger wheels and maybe a few other bits.

Failed the MOT as the front number plate was degrading! Other than that the car's (touch wood) running as sweet as a sewing machine.

I live in Bournemouth and would be happy to collect them for you and then let you know when I am travelling up north. Last week I was in Shrewsbury and Mansfield, next week probably Wolverhampton. Gives you an option?
