Have to agree with Maneesh the MKI looks better than the MKII. I parked my MKII next to a similar coloured MKI the other day, and on speaking to the owner he has had his from new and its only done 12,000. Mines on 153,000. I do miss the looks of my MKI, but enjoy drivinh my MKII, can't wait get to get a MKIII.

Not trying to teach your parent's mother to suck eggs or anything, but do you have the CD's the right way up. Even now on my 2nd GS I still occasional put a disc in the changer the wrong way up.

I try and teach disabled children Fencing (swords not knock off gear). I am trying to get my PPL but that is slow and expensive. But mainly its slot cars. I have a custom built shed with over 160 cars, lorries etc. mainly in pairs for equal racing and my straight is 17ft long.

Can you not just press the tape button, that would stop the cd where it was until you selected cd again and if you don't have any tapes then no sound will come out. Thinking about it do they have a cassette player LS?

Hampshire Police are suggesting that any failure to stop should be a custodial offense and therefore hopefully minimise the amount of chases. I think the Police need to use their discretion and generally I think they do.

Everydays a school day. Did you know that if you bring your sun visor down and then turn it through 90 degress (so its over the door window) it is telescopic and can be moved towards the rear?

What is this about summer and winter position? Can you change this, and if so how? IanB :D The wipers have 2 positions (Summer and Winter) The summer position keeps the wipers below the bonnet line and obviously the winter one keeps them higher. You need to pull the wiper blade up with a resonable amount of force to move from Summer to Winter, I have always found it easier to do this from the passengers side. I only ever change the position to clean the very lower part of the windscreen as living in sunny Bournemouth its always summer lol.
