Samco Hoses

Kitted engine bay out with Blue Samco hosing today. I managed to get hold of some different diameter pipes in metre lengths.

Also meeting up with BESTY tomorrow to do a deal for the three carbon fuse covers and the two carbon engine covers.

She'll look "PROPA BO"

I heard some horror stories about fancy hoses "sweating" out the PAS fluid!

Any truth in this?

Might not of have been Samco of course.. but it was an IS200 Lex all the same.

Any experience based knowledge appreciated.

When ordering SAMCO® its important to make sure you get the right type, there is specific hose designed for oil and petrol, if the wrong hose is used then you will get sweating hoses

I have seen this on Bazza's car even... not very nice

what are the consequences of this sweating, presumably its the power steering fluid which is escaping through the hoses

it sounds dangerous!!!

ITS NOT REALLY DANGEROUS.....

obviously if fluid can escape out, then there is a pressure drop, and moisture can get in....and it will atract dust and generally look naff
