Er... thought I might add this in - don't make up a Japanese flag with the red 'rays' coming out of it as this can be construed as an insult to Japanese people. It would be on par with putting a swastika on your bonnet!

I'm still wondering what the rhino idea is all about. Surely a rhino on the image would make people immediately think of Suzuki? I agree with Matthew and yourself though - what is 'JAPSAI'?

as i have decided everyone is paying far to much for parts, i

came upon the idea to manufacture my own, and with the help of a few other ingenius people, decided to find a name to trade our trinkets under, the Japsai name started as a joke, the english speakers will understand it.

so the basis of the scheme is to supply parts, self manufactured under a name.....i.e JAPSAI

There is already a spring manufacturer in Holland that will sell me unbranded coils and print up the coil with the japsai name and also the packaging.

so the logo needs to be easily printable, so far the first one, is the easiest to print ....

so now the remit is known

i intend to sell this stuff through the club store and online

ahhhh - OK Mat - you should have explained that bit earlier.

I'm sure we'll all have another go and try and make something more easily printable ;)

OK Mat - with this new info in mind, I just did something simple like

as a logo, its nice and simple - but the best bit is it is based on a free font called mandingo (direct link to font download).

This means you can email that file to people and they can easily reproduce your logo, they simply install that font on their 'puter.

Also means you can print letterheads yourself nice and easy by installing the font yourself.

for the logo proper - I simply added an outline, gradient file and a shadow - nothing too fancy - but doesn't look too bad.
