btbroadband 576 up 288 down or so it tells me, thro AOL at £34.99 incl free dial-up at 56k from anywhere in UK.

i do monitor the speed tho (as AOL can give an accurate real-time speed, if you know what to do).

so which button do i press?

GreyBeard, that would be 512k DSL.

512 dsl with aol no problems with connection just aol software uses too much memory needs regular reset otherwise i get low system memory warning's

i used to have a problem, then i got a bit of software from memokit v3.4, but not sure how i got it, see attachment.
