Tricky one for me...

Although i have a 512kb DSL connection, I connect through a VPN to my companies server in the US, and out through a LAN Proxy...

To hazzard a guess, i'd say I get about 100kb/s on a good day..

how fast is the connection from your house to the proxy?

I'm stuck with a 512k ADSL connection. Don't live in a Blueyonder area :crying:

Still at work I have a 100Mb/s Internet feed.

ah - assumed you would be on the two meg trial too - have a brother works for telewest in Liverpoool on blueyonder support, and he made the test - assumed you would be at least trying to get in on the action mate!

Don't live in a Blueyonder area  :crying:

ok then - that would explain it!

:lol::lol:

Thats the tricky bit Matt.

because Im using a VPN for ALL traffic, it slows the connection rate quite a bit.. but as i said, i'd guess i get about 100kb/s, perhaps double that on a good day.
