Steering Advice needed

Recommended Posts

A few months back i got my hands on a 2019 GS-F.
One immediate issue I have is the steering feel or lack of it and from what i can see most people upgrade the LCA.

Can anyone pls advise if there are any UK stockists of RR Racing USRS?

Was looking at this one (https://www.rr-racing.com/) but open to suggestions.

Are there any recommended installers close to North Kent?

Thanks in advance

As above, likely a direct order. Plenty of people fit these on the ISF's with great feedback. I intend to at some point.

I order quite a lot of stuff from the US and normally tell myself whatever the price is in dollars is about what you pay by the time it's in your hand, never disappointed or shocked then! Install is relatively easy if you have a local trusted garage your normally like to use, would recommend an alignment afterwards too as belt and braces.

I'd suggest you'd probably want the poly ones, rather than the solid ones?

That is more the problem - i still haven't found a trusted garage who am confident can do the job.

I suggested the solid ones because they are i believe the newer version - curious as to why you suggest the poly version.

Id recommend having Wheels In Motion fit them, that way you can get a Geo setup right afterwards.

They fitted my camber adjusters on the IS250....think will fit any other suspension components and you have peace of mind with them being the experts in suspension geometry setup

Plus you get a nice drive to test before and after 😉

Whereabouts in Kent are you? Still trying to suss out fellow members locally? (I am Petts Wood close to Orpington)

Poly has a bit of play in it, solid doesnt at all. They also do a 'road' version which is softer than poly (but still not as soft as standard). Different versions for different applications.

Try Westfield motors in Rayleigh, they’re Toyota/Lexus specialist, they look after my F and carried out a geometric check after I had my GSF manifolds installed, ask for Chris or Ian. They’re the proprietors
