Bkladescan headlight question

Ok so I press the adaptive button, push the stalk forward and the lights remain the same, just the regular lights, no full beam.  Am I doing something wrong?

Not driving fast enough? They only change after speeds above 40mph. Also they won't change if the system detects street lighting. Also make sure the headlamp switch is in the auto position.

The adaptive headlamps function very well on my RX, very few cars flash me and only then when one might expect it anyway e.g. uphill lefthand corners etc..

Remember to set high beam light ON with Auto mode.

I hadn't realised the 40mph limit either. This helped me answer a question from Mrs S about this. Thanks for that!
