Hello all, my old LS 400 requires a new radiator. Sadly Lexus UK has ceased manufacture though they have given me the correct part number 16400-50150 . Can anyone help me in finding one , or maybe have one . Thank you Michael.

Rockauto have them. Shipping shouldn't be too high as it's light.

Agree…worth looking at a refurb. They come back good as new. Used to be a local guy where I am was my go to. He’d remove and replace with a good turnaround time.

Used a few times including heater rad core.

Hi Michael, seeing how you are in Merseyside, I would give these guys a call and ask for a quote for a replacement part, or even better - for them to fix the existing one potentially: M.R.S. Heat transfer ltd t/a Motor Radiator Specialists, based in Preston, Lancs, 01772736500 or visit https://www.mrsheattransfer.com/.

Quite honestly the best place in the North West when it comes to all things radiators and cooling. Howard and the team are very meticulous, very thorough, and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to radiators, oil coolers, air con compressors, etc. They do custom radiators too, so will be able to spec one up for you should you wish to go that route. Last time I had a similar request, it was a few hundred pounds cheaper than what the Lexus dealer / parts reseller asked for.

Thank you all for responding , I’ve had faultless motoring in my old car, I’ve had her from new. This is the first component to wear out and I was amazed when Lexus informed me they no longer manufacture or can supply. I’ve sent a note to the company in Preston. Again many thanks for all your assistance. Michael Vercell

Michael, what is the matter with the car to warrant a new radiator ?

You must have been very rich in 1997 to have bought her brand spanking new 😉

It is possible to buy a OEM new one from JAPAN for 400 US$ + shipping and customs etc.
Shipping was quoted at 130US$ to me in Sweden
Supplier AMAYAMA.com  I have bought from them a few times. worked flawlessly.
I would wonder if it is New old stock. May contain wery old seals etc that may be dodgy.

I would probably rather buy a DENSO radiator from Rockauto in the US
OR buy it from Germany.  132€  at Kfzteile24.de ( no idea about shipping and customs etc to UK from US or Germany.)

Michael good luck with that note to the Preston branch of Lexus I asked for a quote to replace my cambelt and they said they would need to reference back to Lexus in Japan because the information for procedure and hours to do it was no longer on their system I am still waiting for a call 12 month later.

Job  was done by Granville motors in St Annes by a very component guy for a very attractive price.
