Insurance company / broker price quotations are generally simply unfathomable these days …… it’s a bit of a lottery 🤔

The box code a correct part code, the part code on the shock itself is just a marking that corresponds to the part code on the box, probably an internal sub assembly part code for the body that isn’t available on its own.

The embossed logo is the same as my avatar, Toyota used it on their 70’s vehicles ….good to see it’s still alive in 2024 👍🏻…..well that or it’s very very old stock ! 😁😁😉

Was tempted by a spare wheel cover from Japan. £45. Tried to add it onto my order but the buggers wanted to charge shipping for cover as an individual item, not as part of original order.

Not sure it would fit over my spare anyway as it is 10mm wider than OEM.

Towel will have to do for now!

Gone off idea of taking it to Spain now, sadly.

1. It would burn 4000 of my 5000 miles on insurance.

2. Cannot take two folding bicycles.

3. Will be no space for wine and souvenirs.

4. Will cost £600 more in fuel, which affects number 3 above!

Jazz it has to be.

May try for a smaller Euro trip later in the year.

Hey…just a thought …tow the SC430 behind the motorhome 🤔🤔

Princess will be doing the big road trip!

Only live once. No point stashing it in the garage....that can wait until we get back and all my miles are used up.

Room for another bag.

Lower back seat squab removed.

Can you add a bit more insulation to the back of the seat /spare wheel, the leather can leave an indentation very quickly.
