Diy Tinted Windows

Recommended Posts

no point in buying them then having a local installer fit it! might as well just do it propperly and spend the £££ and have a pro do the whole lot from scratch.

Nothing looks worse than a badly done tint job.

And for the sake of £200+ you will keep your car looking sweet and not cheap.

Your driving a lex not a nova lol.

I was quoted £550 to do the whole car, which I have been told is a fair price!!!

Silly money realy, that buy me 1x19" wheel!!!

the most expensive quotes i've had are £300-450.

I've had offers of £150 from about 3 places.. :whistling:

Nice car... lets rip him off!

DEF!!!!

I always try not to say what car I have until I really have to when getting quotes for work.

I.E tyres 215/45 R17.... does the car really affect the price or just checking to see if I got the right ones?

GO Gold there are a few places doing good deals

Yep it's true. My brother-in-law does tints and his customers are having their front tints removed. Also had to remove them on my Jeep

This is why I haven't bothered with the Lex as I've already got the back tinted as standard.

Apparently latest thing in tints is graduated colours; black to silver, black to red, black to blue etc. I've seen this on some of the cars in his workshop and it does look good.

There was a member who turned up at Gaydon with this kind of tint. I think it was black to silver.

Not to my taste! :o
