New Is

Recommended Posts

Lex currently offering first 3 services free or a body kit on new IS.

It's not the Aero package i.e.you don't get 18 rims just the kit.

Will having a kit improve or harm it's future value ?

What would you go for ?

Whats the value of each ?

Thanks.

PS

What do those chrome scuff plates cost ?

Metal scuffs (the ones on the sport) are about £60 for front.

I think Besty is talking about the crap TTE Illuminated scuffs - they cost over £200

If it was me made i would definately take the kit. The first three services shouldnt cost anymore than £600 tops. A genuine Lexus kit will cost a lot more and will be more desirable to future buyers as it is a genuine lexus kit supplied and fitted by lexus.

if you go for the body lit just bear in mind the 17inch wheels will look small with side skirts etc,you will need 18 `s.

No chance I'm afraid - it's being offered by Lexus not the dealers - I've already got a good deal anyway - they haven't got the margin to do much more for me.

Save me ploughing through 270 pages in the gallery - can anyone point me towards a pic of a Granite with styling kit ?

Thanx.

Colin, I want a set of illumianted ones for my car but have been put off buying them because a lot of people here say they are crap. My question is surely if they became faulty could they not be exchanged for a new set again from point of purchase? Is there not some sort of warranty with them?

£200 is bit much to be shelling out otherwise
