Roof bars from Halfords about £110 for the set, been looking at that as the IS is bit limited on carrying capacity. Not very cool I know but when needs must stick em an and take em off ASAP.

Although no mention of metal plate - and looks like a hell of a palarva.

Getting the seats out is easy, but there is a metal bulkhead between the boot and the interior, just checked on mine in the car park.

Yup, bad case of me posting a great idea without thinking it through I'm afraid :duh: :blush:

Anyway roof bars are the only way :D

can just imagine the surprise if you managed to fold the matress, tie it up, get it into the car then have it pop open as you were driving!!!!

half day van rental shouldnt set ya back more than £50 should it?

or as bazza said, get em to deliver it! or even courior (sp) to yourself
