whole bunch of people here have used and highly recommend Tint-R in Nottingham.

Simon had his done there - as did I last week.

I can highly recommend them myself - allround job (back window and all 4 sides) for £150 - a full afternoon's work.

Those Tom's Rim are nice & are they light as compared to the stock 17inch rim.

Thank you all, the rims are quite light, in fact I was surprised by just how light they were, the new wheels have created one problem though, there is now loads of room behind them - enough in fact for a nice brembo big kit!! As for whats next well, flywheel, pistons, rods, manifold, new intercooler, boost upgrade to 1.0 bar at least, then may be nos and a coffin!!

I saved more on the wheels by being a gold member and so far this year for my £25 membership fee I have made savings of £1324.27.

Anyone out there that hasn't joined, you must be mad. The ammount of savings that are in there is truely unbelievable. I managed to source these wheels cheaper from the States than buying them in the UK. Then I got discount on the tyres after that!!

Well chuffed, also just had confirmation that my fascia plates have arrived and that my new sound system is ready, Mark at TDi has talked me into having a TFT screen installed in the car so that when he does the next load of work on the car all the guages will be electronic and be shown on the screen, well if the DVD isn't playing at the time!!

www.autotoys.com in the States do them, also Blackmagic has managed to source a JDM one from somewhere.

very nice Si,i was looking at these long time ago,but was never sure about them......but........they do look good.

when i first saw them they reminded me of the old ford RS wheels, but seeing them fitted ........yep ace mate B)

It has thrown up a question though, for those of you with aftermarket wheels on the car what do you do about a spare?

I wouldn't recomended it but I have retained the standard wheel as a spare. As i said before the circumference of the wheel has hardly changed and the width of the tyre isn't really an issue as space savers are common place now.

Someone did mention that they carry a can of something? can't remember what that was though, also i've sold the wheels so keeping the other is not an option i'm afraid
