Spark Plugs

Recommended Posts

There wasn't a link mate.

I've just fitted some NGK iridium IX plugs to my Superbike and they're excellent, they seem to burn really well and the engine just seems more efficient and also sounds smoother.

I'm pretty sure you can get them for cars too.

I was told by Colin that standard should be IK20 and for every 50 BHP increase you would then need colder .... ie IK22, ok

IK24 are for serious power

Hope this helps............

When the engine cover is off you will see the tops of the coilpacks, each is held in with 2 bolts with 10mm hex. Disconnect the wiring from each, take out the bolts and lift out the coilpacks.

Deep down the holes are the plugs, use plug socket with a rubber insert that holds the plug and a long extension bar to take em out, easy :D

I've got Denso Iridium IK22 for the turbo

If your car is still standard I think its the IK20 that you want

There is a guy on ebay that sells them. Excellent price, probably the cheapest you'll find them and great delivery.

Ive just bought 6 Denso IK22 froma eBay seller.
