returned from Silverstone.......1.5 hours to get there................3.5 to get back and no accidents

Thanks to Johnboy for getting everything sorted.

some muppet crashed 100 yards of leaving pits on warm up lap........so Mike Morse & I where sat in a queue for 7 minutes (loosing time) while pooh for brains was extricated ..

Went out did a warm up lap following an audi then went for it...........captured it all on video and will upload shortly......Mike Morse span in front of me on the first corners !!! all captured !!

Quite enjoyable................only managed 2 full flat laps as someone else went off and we got red flagged

Did the 0-60 did 2 runs.........1 @ 7.35 seconds second at 6.84 seconds

All in all a good day out

Hi,

Sounds like a normal day at traxs with hardly any track time  <_<

I went on there a few years back and was annoyed because like you,i only had about two good laps before some ***** went off into the gravel trap and the session was stopped :whistling:

Its a long expensive day just to be able to do a couple of laps, what i cant understand is dont they listen to whats said in the drivers briefing

At least you didnt let it spoil your day.

I only managed to spin it once!

Unfortunetly, caught on camera! Photos are here:

http://www.fordmondeo.org/forum/showtopic.php?tid/724622/

Had a few late breaking moments, but the car is capable of much more than I am

Struggled with traction badly on the 0-60....

MR Morse, you beat me :(

My time?

6.95s! :crybaby:

just got home :o

who ever thought the M1 was bad should have been on the M40 :crybaby:

2 hours sitting in stationary traffic !! lorry had caught fire and spread its load across the lanes

very dissapointed i didnt make it on track, the organisers need a good kick up the pants

three 0-60 runs

1st. the timer didnt work !!

2nd. 7..something

3rd. 6.6

was struggling with traction, even with the toyo r888`s on

watched the drifting practice, shame we couldnt be bothered to walk the couple of miles so that we might have been able to see it properly ;)

best bit about the whole day ....it didnt rain :D

big thanks to John

(about time he had club meet organiser by his name ) :whistling:

A most enjoyable day out and good to see everyone! :D

Dave and I were out on the second track session of the day and the track was still wet in places........being frustrated at being kept in the pits for half our track time I wellied it at 120mph on Pits Straight and left the braking around Copse a little too late

result.....

a quite sensational spin off on to the concrete run-off

2nd lap.....

was trying to pass an ST24 Mondeo on the same Pits Straight, couldn't get past him in time before Copse and span off in exactly the same place!:blush:

No damage done apart from my underwear...

Anyway, sinve I'm obviously useless going around corners I decided to have a crack at the 0-60 strip...

Run #1: 6.00

Run #2: 5.75

Didn't exactly set the world alight, but very respectable for the first time I'd taken the Tubby on the track.

A great day out! Looking forward to the next event! :D :D :D

pmsl laughing seeing Maneesh "getting lost"
