A question for Mat...

If your going to use this a competition car, are you installing a fuel cut-off switch? extinguisher? roll cage?

i am getting a roll cage built by TRD at the moment

i have a full saloon car fire suppresant system from my race car

yes will have all the other required safety devices installed.......i have most of it anyway ...removed from my ex-race car

Will the rear seats still be in use with the roll cage?

yes.......the cross bar will be removable, and the seats are easy to remove anyway when the cross bar is re-installed

i will not consider the Laughing gas, untill after ALL the mechanical work is done..........

this includes the 3.4 stroker kit and the differential upgrade, and any other mechanical parts that will be required

i think the first stage will be a handfull to begin with

not decided yet, either the first red design or the second

ive been given a price to do it though, and im very impressed

Are you impressed becaus it is cheaper than you expected or because it is much more

In France the second red graphic (TRD) should be at least £300, due to the lot of surface, it should worth it to have it done with paint instead of stickers

gotta have the max power stickers!

reckon that could be 32BHP where the rubber meets the road.

That's why I have 4 ones on my bonnet : 32bhp gain each it makes me 282BHP, I can beat DaveEllen's without NOZ system :zee: :P

First time I see this stuff  It seems very good, the intercooler system is the same as nitrous ones but the kit for air induction pipe is very very interesting B)

I reckon that The Monster will be fairly impressive, but will not really be a match for the fastest Skylines until a LOT more money is spent on it. I know how much the Skylines cost to get where they are now. The Toyota engine is considerably stronger than the Nissan so we have a bit of an advantage there.

Pee.j - I don't understand your point about the power - I haven't made any claims about the power - maybe you are getting confused with the Supra we are doing?

I doubt whether the standard diff will take the power for long, plus it has the wrong ratio. It definately needs a stronger and lower ratio diff, and I would recommend the Supra part. Although we are contributing a considerable amount of time and money to this project, ultimately we are demuring to Mat's wishes as it is his car. Apparently Mat has organised a diff from TTE which may be better - watch this space.

This looks interesting...............

CO2 cooling

I tried a similar thing on an Escort RS Turbo back in 1990 - total waste of time.

The technology is better nowadays so I would give it another try.

how much heat (in Wattage terms) would you expect to see in the inlet charge? if its not too high can you use Peltier devices to cool instead?
