From what Damer was telling me i got the impression it was £80 for insurance to use the promenade. don't forget theres photos to pay for too

Chris is right it is £80 total for the insurance. Whilst that probably is cheaper than all the parking people will pay, there is the big hassle of having to also supply a detailed risk assesment for using the promenade. Using a public car park is probably the easiest option.

Has a final venue been chosen yet?

Also can I please have final numbers for the photo shoot. Things the photographer has said is that 1 spot is much easier and the shoot will need to be before 3:30 due to the light.

The current number for the shoot is at the beginning of the thread as for the place we are still awaiting some local people to the area to give us some sort of idea where may be good

We are less than 3 weeks away now and we need to sort the photographer etc

Sorry I can't make the meet but still suggest the South Beach Car Park next to the Sandcastle.

Also I need to let the photographer know, he has set aside the day at the moment and I don't want to mess him around as I use him for work.

If there aren't 20 people sing up for the photo shoot by Monday I will stand the photographer down. Be a shame but I am sure you will still have a great time.

That Sunday is the last night of the Lights. It is quite eirie, I use to love it though.

South Beach car park is fine with me guys the only problem with it is its not very big as it will take about 30 cars so might not all get on due to other cars being parked there unless the casino/sandcastle car park is open to the public which is at the other end of the south beach carpark but uses the same entrance?

Theres always the ones by the football ground which are really big and pretty central? i'll keep searching guys to see where else there is? The go cart track is next door to that one Chris so we could have a bit of fun there but its about a mile or so away from the main front? but a good alternative mate :D

Might be better with car park away from the front, as the last night of the lights gets full.

Plus they let the fireworks off by the sandcastle on that night so there are people everywhere thats if we stay that long??
