I've held off reading any new comment on this thread till i'd watched the race on sky plus from this morning.

Got to feel so much for Lewis it was almost there for him, but as Scorps said he has nothing to lose in two weeks. He's a rookie, if he wins the championship in his first season then Amazing, If he doesn't then he's still done far better than ever expected.

i watched it live - gotta say - his tyre was visibly shredded 2 laps before he came in? Why 2 laps? Then there was misx up and everyone though lonso was coming in...

Was it sabotage or suicide? Or was it pure inexperience of McLaren being in these positions. Surely it would have made sense to seal the Championship before going around in canvas?

So its all down to Brazil then.

Whilst i/we all want him to lift the championship in his first season (and i think he will do it) :D on the off chance he doesn't i dont think he should be too dissapointed either as hes a rookie and has done remarkably well in his first season and its been a big learning curve for him. A big team error i think, he should of been called in at least a lap earlier as you could clearly see the tyre delaminating.

Hes in trouble again at Brazil and under investigation for using 2 sets of wet weather tyres in free practise, your only allowed to use 1 set per session.....surely McLaren knows this?

Are they(McLaren) doing there best to not let Lewis win the championship although no punishment has yet been inforced i s'pose they could place him further down the grid after grid positions are set after finals tomorrow.

Well he pulled it out, 1st after second practice and no punishment for him personlly for the tyres,

Just a £10.5K fine for Maclaren, Super Aguri, and Honda. Cause i can really see that fine denting their multi million pound F1 budget.

Still got a bet on though! come on England/Liverpool/Celtic/Hamilton!!!!!!!
