Rayzer - Auxiliary Light For Lexus?

Recommended Posts

I drive my relatively new Lex some 300km to work every Monday morning and back home Thursday afternoon. I have been searching for a pair of good auxiliary lights for some time and then I stumbled over theese;

Rayzer - Visualeyes

Anyone tried/seen this IRL before?

The company is in fact in the town where I work so I will visit them later this afternoon or next week for a closer personal inspection.

Here is a short film demonstrating it; Film

Interesting don´t you think?

nope.

good HID's are a better bet.

I have HID´s.

Ok I know I live in a place where it´s dark 24/7 wintertime but even if I did live in UK I would still want better vision, but that´s me.

there really isnt a requirement for internal lights like these in the UK....a decent set of HID and bumper mounted driving lights is all that is needed

Ok perhaps you´re right. But I believe theese are instead of bumper mounted driving lights (no risk of theft, not getting dirty/greasy, not changing the arodynamics of the car, better light vision as they are mounted high etc.)

It is difficult for us to say really as we don't have the darkness for the length of time you do. We don't know the conditions. Guess ours are more short lived.

It seems what you have is not enough for your conditions, and as you say, other types get mucked up.

I think you want them really don't you? :D If you do, then buy them. Treat yourself.

See if you can test first though because if you look in the video, sometimes the headlights are on high beam, sometimes they aren't. Its hard to tell when they are comparing as the camera is higher and you don't see the blue light on the dash after about half way through the video.

My other concern would be the rear view mirror? Or lose the sunvisor if mounted on the passenger side.

it almost sounds like your trying to get people to buy these lights........... <_<

£650??? You'd have to be out of your tiny mind to pay that for what basically amounts to a couple of torches on the dashboard. 24/7 darkness or not they're not worth that. If you wanted extra light, why not pay a third of that price and get some nice driving lamps in the ower grille at the front. Maybe I'm wrong, but surely dark is dark. It's not any darker in Sweden than it is here in an area without light pollution. A decent set of HID's and some upgraded main beam bulbs will surely do more than adequately. If you need light that much, buy a 4x4 and stick a few floodlights to the top.
