Has anyone got a specification for the UK IS300 stereo system?

Also, what is everyone's opinion on the Lexus Hi-fi?

Not having the currently UK/IS300 specs but the sound system in any Lexus is a very good one.

I am well please with the IS200 audio system (CD at top). Bass is lacking though a lower volumes, but really comes alive when you turn it up.

Ive got the IS300 and overall I think the setup is very good except I think the bass could be better....

is there a subwoofer fitted as standard or if not, is there an easy way to fit one?

2 tweeters (near the door mirrors), 2 in the front doors, and 4 on the back shelf (they are components)........

According to the 2001 IS300/200 Electrical wiring diagram manual, It shows diagrams of an 8 and 9 speaker system. The 9 speaker system having a rather large sub.

However I'm yet to see one in the flesh!!

I thought the IS200 SE & Sport and IS300 saloon stereo systems were identical? As far as I know, it's only the SportCross that gets the extra ninth speaker

hey i reckon the is200 and all lexus system are one of the best stock

but like ppl said, the bass was lacking for me, and i got 2 rockford subs put in

im not sure with wiring and stuff though, becuase i got the ppl that i bought my system off to install it for me

how much space do the subs take up?

I am installing a 40CM focal subwoofer by the end of the month.

I'll tell you if bass is better.
