Here are some of my bikes and cars...

Started off my car interest with a skoda fabia vrs. Was mapped to 175BHP and I added lowering springs, wheels, splitter etc. wheels were a mistake. Was fun modding this car.

Sold this and bought a Mazda 3 mps aero. Again started modding! Wheels, exhaust, black badges etc 265bhp front wheel drive. Loved this car.

Then bought a rx8 231. Again few mods done like boot spoiler etc. cracking car but oil consumption and mpg don't add up for a 231bhp car. Also, gearbox went pop! Great looking car though. Racing beat exhaust sounded great.

Then needed some money so sold this and bought a v6 200bhp fto. Real chav car and loved it to bits. Did Loads of mods to this one. Mainly interior but also exhaust, wheels intake etc. lots more engine bling on this one. Took my modding a different direction.

Sold this for the biker dream and bought a ninja c1h 636 and a seat leon 1.6 se. Loved the ninja but it got stolen :(

Then bought my GSXR 750. Spent loads modding this from carbon fibre panels to exhaust to levers etc

Then moved to Chelmsford. Went contracting and bought my isf. Hands down best car I have ever owned.

You started with a Fabia? Blimey you must be a baby  my first car was a 1965 Mini I bought for £50 (and I was done!) it was only 6 years old at the time.

I have a list somewhere, its long and varied with some very nice what now would be considered classics........if only we knew then what we (think) we know now!

Lol. If 30 is a baby then i am indeed :)

Made a fair few modding mistakes with these cars. It's all a learning curve I guess.

My brother is 32 and has had over 25 cars. There are a few inbetween my ones above but only a few.

First car was a Vauxhall Vectra 1.8. Most basis car in the world but other than odds and end never caused me many problems and I certainly got my money worth out of it and it is still running today.

Moved onto a Mazda 6 sport. Lovely car and very high spec. Did not notice how basis the Vectra was until I got this. Great car to drive and was ideal for the family. Unfortuantely it hit black ice in December and was written off.

Then brought the Lexus Is250 because I had always liked them. This is a step up from the Mazda which I did consider very good, however the Lexus is more refined and feels very well build. So far more than happy with this car and hopeful will have for many years. Also on Saturday my wife is going to pick up a Mini Cooper so I will be playing about in that "go kart" over the next few months.

I tried to count the cars I have has a while back, and gave up on about 65, but I currently have a Lexus LS 400, possibly the best car I have ever had, a Skoda Octavia TDI , brilliant workhorse, my wife has a Fiat Panda, a lot better than you would think. In my garage I have a Jaguar Mk 2 3.4 manual with overdrive, owned, minus a break, since 1977, and a Lancia 2000 HF Pininfarina Coupe. Both of these have been off the road for some years and need restoration, when I finish my house renovation. They are two of the most beautiful cars ever designed in my opinion.

Among my past cars I have had a Jaguar XF 3.0 D Portfolio - not bad but unsupportive seats and way too expensive to leave parked anywhere - 42 mpg all day long though. A Renault 16 TL, the most comfortable car I ever had and incredibly quiet, a Datsun 180 SSS, the noisiest car I ever had, the engine drone gave me headaches. I had a Vauxhall Viva HA, which was horrible, a Cortina Mk 3 1300, the slowest and most underpowered car I ever had, several Rover 2000s, which were lovely things but you could watch them rusting before your eyes. I had a couple of W124 Mercs, which were brilliantly engineered and put together. I had several Mk 2 Golf GTIs, which were brilliant - foot down in any gear, at any speed and you were off. The ride was too harsh for south yorkshire roads though. I had a couple of Cavaliers, a Mk 2 LX and a Mk 3 2000, they were good cars. I was given a Volvo 340 and quickly gave it away again. I had a Audi 90 2.2 which I loved and kept for a long time. The 5 cylinder engine was sublime. I had a Renault Espace, which was great in many ways, and a Mk1 Escort that wasn't. I had an Audi A4, efficient but soulless, A VW Beetle old style, could not keep up with the rust, a Triumph 200 that was OK but drank petrol at an alarming rate. I had a Mazda MX-5 until last year, which was brilliant. Handled like a go kart with a very comfortable ride - how do they do that? I had a BMW E46 BMW 330 D for a long time 40 mpg all day long, a fantastic engine, but £4K in bills whilst under warranty scared me off, also they do nasty run flat tyres now which are a bad idea imho.

It took me many years before Lexus came onto my radar, the LS is probably the best of the lot, wish I had looked at them years ago.

One question, what is the best looking car ever made? in my opinion, the Lancia Aurelia B20 .

Bet I've missed some out but :-

Datsun 100A - Mustard yellow, 100k miles when I bought it but driving it to and from uni it died at over 200k miles, most amazing was I knew nothing about cars then and it was never serviced! Only died due to floor rusting through, engine & gearbox were still perfect and never let me down.
