    Well between decorating and sorting the garden i managed to clean the bosses motor.... ignore the Scoob, it's a dirty ho :winky: And then back to the 18 inch tyres that need replacing! i've mixed conti's on at the mo and it's a nightmare to get the replacements in a matching pair!! the 255/40 18's are a real pain in the ..........

    we have the same but i just pop the boot and bang the bottom of the parcel shelf lol. it seems to have worked :winky: i thought it might be the rear sun shield or levinson rear speakers????

    I shouldn't worry about it! As above, anything used will have an effect on your consumption. but i'd rather have a cool ***** then worry about .5 of an mpg :winky:

    Did you miss page one aswell!? 205/40ZR18 86W 215/40ZR18 89W 225/40ZR18 92W 225/45ZR18 95W Clearly :winky: But they aren't right! I think these might be though........ 225/40x18 fronts & 255/40x18 rears. :)

    Quality MPG's! I'm lucky to see 35 when i'm at the wheel... but the misses is thinking mid 40's will be on when she heads up to manchester next week. my point is - now that diesel is so pricey, how long before people stop buying them?

    Who needs a diesel eh :winky: The misses went from Oxford to Nottingham and back yesterday, managing a mighty impressive 39.8 mpg on 'tank average' on getting back. I couldn't believe it so checked myself, and sure enough it was there... We've both noticed that the MPG is improving with mileage (23k), so the future looks good for this petrol :) Anyone beat that? :duh:

    I am just about to start looking at some new rubber and currently have Contis on Baranusa 18's. I certainly won't be refitting Contis, they seem noisy compared to others. Currently thinking about Dunlops as i thought the Goodyears would be louder. but now parthiban has put that info up, then i'll look again. People have been talking about Toyo's and Yoko's but i found it difficult to find the availability in the correct sizes. So at the mo, i'm in the goodyear camp. but i wouldn't expect them to last that long... Any 18 inch rim owners with advice?

    OMG! that is shocking and thanks for putting the info up. there is power in numbers, and if people stopped going to these dealers then the message would soon get through. and also informing other dealers about the bad ones will make a difference. you should also see through a complaint to lexus GB, it will sink in and i'm sure they'll do an independent check on the dealer. Lexus oxford have been vgood upto now, but we'll be keeping an eye on it.

    Looks bloody spanking! Nice work.... We also have the Baranusa, love em. And it's time for new tyres, so the toyo's have made a real difference in noise? I hope so, as the Conti's we have at the mo are driving me mad now they are at the end of their life...
