  1. Do you own the name Steve? I think it would add a lot of power to the club if we were "Lexus Owners".
  2. Good question. We are owners of Luxus', but not stricktly Lexus Owners Club. I'd go for members of Team Lexus. Give the site a push. Does someone own the name "Lexus Owners Club"? [Edited on 27-2-2002 by Wallace]
  3. All companies will do is pass the increased charges onto the consumer. So we'll all have to pay more indirect taxes:mad: Mind you, my neighbour drives 1000 miles a week for Acorn, perhaps it may make some companies think.
  4. Congratulations-was it a difficult birth? If its Blue it must be a BOY. Is that an optinal extra at the side.:tumble: PS Can you make the photo any LARGER
  5. You can afford ADSL? We must be paying you too much:P How about a button to direct you to the last comment posted on a forum Steve. Instead of having to wade through all the comments you have probably read before. Its usually the last one entered you want to read.
  6. Nutscrap sucks!:P How about a big flashing sign when someone enters the chat room, and sits there all alone, waiting-waiting-waiting:(:( [Edited on 26-2-2002 by Wallace]
  7. It all depends on how much you value your car and how much you are willing to spend to protect it. Will you sleep easier if your car has a tracking device on it? Will you avoid certain car-parks if it doesn't? If yes to either-then start saving your pennies!
  8. You could regret starting this Chris! I drove to Stoke on Sunday, didnt notice any funny smells, some funny people, strange cars. Is there a brewery there?
  9. I think the skirts have it.:tumble:
  10. Has someone upset you mate? Or have I missed something? I'm sure all of the members are waiting to see your motor in all its glory in the magazine.
  11. Hi andyhart! The windscreen cleaner from Autoglym is just as bad for leaving dust all over the place! Seems to hide under the windscreen rubber, just when you think its all gone!
  12. How about an active map showing the location of all the members ? Can you have "yesterdays posts" for those who dont log-on every day.?
  13. I use it all the time Steve, its very useful. Congratulations on getting over 100 members. Its obviously due to your wonderful website.(creep creep):P
  14. TRACKER requires a police car being in the area when your device is activated. RAC TRACKSTAR uses GPS and activates automatically if the car is moved without the ignition being switched on.
  15. Lexus have not done anything to mine yet. Its done 4.9K, theres no mention of a return to the dealer except for its first service after 12 months. I think modern cars are a lot different to the ones of 20 years ago. i.e. no heads to be tightened down after 600 miles. Enjoy the car AND Club.:tumble: [Edited on 23-2-2002 by Wallace]
  16. Another Yahoo follower, it sent me to www.Lexusfans.com then an e-mail from Matt:tumble:
  17. I use the two Diamond Bright cleaners and preservers that came with the car, but i have some Autoglym in reserve!
  18. Has any-one tried rotating the wheels to even out the wear? My Dunlop SP9000s' are coming up to 5K, but as they are dirction sensitive, you can only swap front to back, and not rotate the lot.
  19. How about a map of UK with all our members locations on Steve? Then we can watch as your empire expands, might help for some local 1-2-1's PS seem my new avator yet? The handbook with the car lists all of the European dealers, but its a hell of a lot of typing. Or i could photo-copy to you Steve. [Edited on 19-2-2002 by Wallace] [Edited on 20-2-2002 by Wallace]
  20. No probs Robbie! Ihad a Corolla and i asked just the same question.. Cheers
  21. If you use your ordinary key to lock the boot (turn it 90degs) it cannot be opened with the internal lever.
  22. Lexus' own Insurance (transfer from Toyota) FC (full no claims) Wrapped up in a nice warm garage at night £370 self and wife ( age has its privilages) 06/2001 IS200SE:P [Edited on 18-2-2002 by Wallace]
