Do you own the name Steve? I think it would add a lot of power to the club if we were "Lexus Owners".

Good question. We are owners of Luxus', but not stricktly Lexus Owners Club. I'd go for members of Team Lexus. Give the site a push. Does someone own the name "Lexus Owners Club"? [Edited on 27-2-2002 by Wallace]

All companies will do is pass the increased charges onto the consumer. So we'll all have to pay more indirect taxes:mad: Mind you, my neighbour drives 1000 miles a week for Acorn, perhaps it may make some companies think.

It all depends on how much you value your car and how much you are willing to spend to protect it. Will you sleep easier if your car has a tracking device on it? Will you avoid certain car-parks if it doesn't? If yes to either-then start saving your pennies!

Hi andyhart! The windscreen cleaner from Autoglym is just as bad for leaving dust all over the place! Seems to hide under the windscreen rubber, just when you think its all gone!:smilegrin:

How about an active map showing the location of all the members ? Can you have "yesterdays posts" for those who dont log-on every day.?

TRACKER requires a police car being in the area when your device is activated. RAC TRACKSTAR uses GPS and activates automatically if the car is moved without the ignition being switched on.

Lexus have not done anything to mine yet. Its done 4.9K, theres no mention of a return to the dealer except for its first service after 12 months. I think modern cars are a lot different to the ones of 20 years ago. i.e. no heads to be tightened down after 600 miles. Enjoy the car AND Club.:tumble: [Edited on 23-2-2002 by Wallace]

I use the two Diamond Bright cleaners and preservers that came with the car, but i have some Autoglym in reserve!

Has any-one tried rotating the wheels to even out the wear? My Dunlop SP9000s' are coming up to 5K, but as they are dirction sensitive, you can only swap front to back, and not rotate the lot.

How about a map of UK with all our members locations on Steve? Then we can watch as your empire expands, might help for some local 1-2-1's PS seem my new avator yet? If you use your ordinary key to lock the boot (turn it 90degs) it cannot be opened with the internal lever.:smilegrin:

I use it every time i log onto the web-site, very useful. Only observation is that if i miss logging on one day there is no easy way to catch up on yesterdays chat. Only a thought.:D
