I like the idea of this, but i preferred the track with no armco, more run off space! One thing though, will i end up with no pads and tread left at the end of the day? if yes, ill give it a miss.

Thanks for the mention Stav :) , as they say all PR is good PR :P although turning up at 3:30pm is just terrible! lol Even though I was late, I still had a good time, was nice to put faces to names on here, and had my Dyno run :) Result of that was 132.5bhp at the hubs, rough 20% increase takes it up to 159bhp at the flywheel, which im pleased about :) Good day :)

My kit arrived today, but with one bad bulb :( i installed everything else though out of eagerness, and i have one side with a HID bulb and one without. The ballast locations i struggled slightly with, but found decent mount points, with no double sided tape needed, will show it to anyone turning up at the TDi Meet. I also put in some 501w LED bulbs replacing the yellow sidelights, looks much better, i also have 3 spare sets with bright white light, and 4 amber sets ill take with me tmrw.

Hi Guys Im trying to get my rear tyres changed and I have struggled most of the week to find any fitter with stocks of the SP3000A, apparently they have been discontinued?! I bought 2 SP3000A's for the front tyres not long ago and they are almost new [when I had the geo done by Tony]. Question now is, can I put a new set of SP9000's on the back with the Sp3000A's on the front? Also, would it be fine to have the non Lexus ones put on? I really could do with them put on today as its getting slippery in the wet now, i have about 2mm left and the tread indicators are flat with the tread :S One garage i called said he could get the 9000's for me if i call him before 2pm [its 1:15pm now]. If any of you can let me know whats the best approach, it would be grand. Thanks chaps!

with option 2 though, the P11D price of the lexus would be far greater then his company allowance, which would mean he would have to "top up" his monthly allowance to be able to pay the monthly charge of the lexus quick maths shows.... 4yrs * 12months * £233/month = £11kish.... + £5k deposit = £16k... Rough estimate off the top of my head, the IS220D would have a company car tax P11D value of... say.. £30k? maybe £28k? which means 28k - 16k= 12k extra ontop, SOOO... 12k/ 48months = £250... to pay a month extra from your own salary... i think they might also minus the car value after 4yrs, which should being that monthly bill down a little. like i said, just a rough calculation, but its something you will need to consider, as the tax man doesn't like company cars!

erm I did matey AU$49.99 + AU$59.00 P+P = £46.60 total oh! thats odd!... mine came to AU $88.50 £38.50 [AU $33.00 + AU $55.50 p&p]... how soon did they arrive? was it an easy install ?

Wozza, just bought the same set, although its £8 cheaper if you buy it from his AU store, not sure if ill get a sting when it comes to currency conversion in paypal though. thanks for all the advice on HID's chaps, appreciated.

Didn't spot this thread, but i bought 5 tickets this morning for the 11am show on Sunday in Earls Court, but i will be around in the car showroom exhibition bit for a good part of Sunday afternoon, welcome to meet with anyone who is there at the time. Stuart_Wise, thats very kind of you. I have his name and license plate, i called their depo and they told me that once his statement comes through they will decide on what action to take. I then ask how i can get my statement to them as its clearly going to one sided if they read only his statement! i was told to call back in the morning! :S As it stands right now, i will most likely not chase GIST and not make a claim, i understand too well how the system here works and i know that it will come right down the "him vs me" scenario that floods our magistrate courts. With the almost guaranteed stress and hassle i will have to go through coupled with the already heavy work load im under i will struggle to keep tabs on progress with the legal cover teams. Which leaves me to ask, "is it really worth the £320 to just fix it myself?" On top of all this, ive been struck again by bad luck with the IS, and this time its a flock of birds... I was driving down a country lane at about 45mph, the only car around, must have scared a flock of little birds from their tree... very easily 200-250 birds flew out of the tree and into my path.. about 30 odd hit the front of the car and another 30 odd smacked the side of the car.... it left my wing mirror mirror dangling by the heater element cable.... im starting to feel as thought some one has jinxed me in my car!!! Its too dark outside to check the damage, but im fearful that i might have a load of tiny little dents on the car now, wish me luck that this is not the case. one thing is for certain though, its covered in blood! Once again thanks for all your comments, help and advice, i will keep you posted on how i get on!
