  1. Given that your neighbour went to look for damage (suggesting that he is pretty careful & considerate and recognises that he may have misjudged it), but didn’t find any, and nor did you when you inspected it both last night and this morning, what’s the problem?
  2. I'd be prepared to lay a small wager that Mick from Bolton is also a Fazer 1000 owner...... Welcome, sir! I hope the Lex is all you want it to be. I'll have a pint, please.
  3. Happy 21st Birthday, Jamie!
  4. I went through a similarly bad period with BT in October?November, hard to get a connection, my connection at home dropping out regularly etc. Then suddenly it all got better as BT added more capacity to my local exchange. Things are OK now, so maybe that's where your problem lies.
  5. Oh, dear. It's not good when bikes meet diesel - I tried it once, and it hurt! Hope all's mended soon.
  6. Welcome to LOC. They're great photos of a nice looking car.
  7. True enough, Derby are right where you predicted!
  8. Depending upon the date, I might well have a run out.
  9. At least, you'd like to think it does!!
  10. That's the opposite of my experience - Audi & BMW couldn't have cared less when I was looking to spend my hard earned cash.
  11. This phrase on their web site worries me: "DWG Classic is especially suited for pre-2000 automotive paints.". Anyone like to guess what's in it and what happens with newer paint?
  12. That's not typical of Lexus customer service. Have you tried calling them? Perhaps there's a simple explanation - maybe your salesman has the flu and is off poorly. Anyway, hope it's all sorted soon.
  13. Rubbish! What you really want is a white one - all the best people drive white ones! Oh, and welcome, Steve. You've got a nice car, there.
  14. I hope you're not suggesting that the mighty Viffer is an old man's bike! Pipe & slippers, here I come. :D
  15. Having had the Lex less than a year, I’m not planning on changing it soon. However, to answer the question, probably and A3 or A4 Quattro or a V50 T5. Either that or use the bike more and have an knackered old Nissan Micra (or similar) for going to work and the shops and a decent hire car for the dozen or so times a year I need to do motorway trips by car. It’d probably be a cheaper solution than having the IS300 too!
