After breaking the N.S.F. mirror I tried to get a new one, the glass, also the clips that hold it on have gone. Lexus tried to help, but because the age of the car and using the chassis number the answer is Discontinued, however one has been sourced from Lexus in Japan. The answer was it had to be made for my model. NO problem and it should arrive in June!!!!!----Can I remove the old one without taking the door card off and all the switches that go with it, or do I have to suffer and take everything off?
Any help much appreciated
I have never had any problems with my L.P.G. filling points location, I gave my insurance company a copy of the certificate, from the garage who fitted it and they said no problems.
Hello Alan: Go onto the web, type in "The wheel specialists" this will give you all their locations, scroll down to Manchester this gives you their location, phone number, address and fax number. I have used them and they do a excellent job.
Stuart: I always press the brake pedal before putting it into gear, this stops the car from jolting "R or D" otherwise the jolt will happen.Mine has 160k on the clock don't worry about the mileage (as smooth as silk)
Welcome to the club Cindy,we need pictures please, you will find a friendly bunch on this club with a wealth of knowledge, so any problems in the future they can sort them out for you.
I was going to do all 4 windows if the drivers window was a success, a long time ago someone said all that was needed was the switch from a later model that had the switch that I needed. I didn't know the door had an ECU
I fancy changing the window switch on my door for one that is auto down and up, has anyone done this,do I have to buy from local Lexus or is there another way, if I can get one from another source what model year am I looking for?
Cheers Norman
Well done That man: That looks a cracking car, I also use Miles for my car, the way I go is Winsford, Middlewich, and down to Sandbach, the route is a good one and the journey and view is great, enjoy the new car, as I know you will.
Hello Boys:from my experience the U.K. licence is acceptable in the U.S.A. as for the annual test they don't have any at all. I have got some photo's of a couple of cars that will make you wonder how they can still be legal to drive on the road, as soon as I find them I'll post them for you to see.
