'94 MR2 Turbo 0-62 is around 5.5 seconds. I wouldn't say that is lacking under the bonnet.

Last time I got a quote for car left in garage instead of on the drive it only decreased the premium by £8! -
Had my door seals replaced yesterday (both the one on the door and the other one around the frame) which hasn't solved the wind noise. Guess I'll be on the phone to the dealer again later to see what else they can do, it's in again in a couple of week for a new door lock motor which is a bit noisy (had two replaced yesterday but there is still one buzzing!)

How Often Do You Check Your Oil ?

Used to check once a month, but never put in a drop in 2.5 years so started not to check so offen. I'll go back to once a month on my new one. -
I think the owners manual has something about running in.

If you put on a Halfords aerial remember you will not get an active one. The standard GS aerial moves up and down depending on the frequency to get the best reception.

Sorry Gary but no you shouldn't. A mast as Chris said is around £36 but I believe that mast attaches to the plastic line. I don't think you can get that as a spare (I could be wrong) and a new aerial will cost £££££. As for the scratches on the spoiler I would try using Scratch X first. It may make it look good enough for you not to bother with a professional repair.

I think you should have put a low starting price on ebay and set a reserve of your asking price. That way you should get early bids which creates interest.

Does the sport have different shocks? The first MKIIs had oil filled shocks which were changed to gas filled ones a year or so later. The sports are gas filled but I don't know if they are different to the SE ones. Maybe somebody with parts database access can check the part numbers for the shocks? Much quicker and cheaper to just swap wheels over to see if that improves the ride. If it does then purchase a new set of 17" wheels that go with the style of the car - I don't think the SE wheels would look that good on a sport. Keep the 18" wheels for when you sell the vehicle.

Even the 220PS 91' models are going to be fun, should be able to get one for £4k these days. Much better than the NA ones and you can get an extra 20bhp+ for a few £s worth of mods.

Same thing if you have a boost controller. You may have your boost at 15psi but you can easily change it down to 12psi or have two different profiles, high and low, and say you never use the high profile, that's just how it came!

What a pain. You wait 5 minutes for a game to load from tape (if it works first time) only for you to press a key and the whole thing crashes because the RAM pack moved! Or spend a couple of hours typing in a game from a computer mag only for it not to work! Bloody cool thing though, I was only 10 at the time and the only one who had a computer in my class at school.

What do you tell insurance companies about Turbos and NOS? Do you just say I have NOS or give them the performance increase, which you can easily change at any time?

No the Getrag 6 Speed Box isn't straight cut, just German engineering at it's best! Very strong, great for the track but not the nicest thing to be stuck in a traffic jam with.

Not in a MR2 Turbo it wouldn't. The MKIIs are comfortable and the Turbo is just great fun. '94+ ones are the best as they have the 245PS engine. The most fun car I have ever had, above the Supra TT.
