    what happened to the z4? my 220d will be going in march, i have decided the tax will be due as well as the 30k service and the insurance in may, its on a pcp which is up in oct 09 so i will be getting shut a bit early and using the wifes fiesta and one from work for a few months then will probably get a boxster or z4 depending on the work situation

    last year i got her a 1990 xr3i cabriolet, nothing at all to do with me always wanting one, she couldnt even drive. this year i did the right thing got rid of it and got here a new fiesta as she has started learning to drive.

    had front disc and pads fitted at 20k service £210.had a rant at Lexus customer care stating that I do not think I should have to replace the discs at 20k and after several emails got a full refund on the discs (as a good will gesture) hmmmmmm. cheers swager i had mine done at the 20 k service foc and didnt have to argue about it

    if you read my earlier posts on the thread you mentioned, i have the same rattle from the seat belt by my ear, it drives you mad because you no its there you listen for it more, there have been days when i feel like smashing the bloody thing with an hammer it really gets my goat, i have given up complaining and just cant be arsed with it no more, i find the best thing to do is turn the volume up. i think jambo had the same rattle dont no if he got it sorted?

    hi, have a look on e-bay there a a few is 250 se one with 19,000 miles and the other 43,000 miles 2006 cars so will have another years warranty left on them both selling for £10.950

    i thought the lugs were just on the IS 200 as i had the same problem with that car as well, the 220d had to have a complete new seat but as mentioned they may have got a fix for it now

    been watching this with some interest for a while,i think the way you have been treated is well out of order and should never have happened, good luck to you if you take further action, also get in touch with the local press as they are ripping people off quoting for work that isnt required, i think most people reading this would think twice about using this lexus approved dealer?

    i had my seat replaced under warranty, mine is a nov 06 220d,they tried a number of times to fix it, but there are no moving parts so lexus gb agreed on a replacment, if they try and say they have never had this problem before tell them to ring lexus sheffield.

    i wouldnt read too much into the top jd power performer bit, some people believe that lexus is the be all and end all when it comes to cars, they will be loyal customers who have driven a lexus for the last 8 years plus and would never have a bad word to say, i was one of them also. my first lexus was the is 200 which i have to say was excellent, my latest is a 18 month old 220d which in my opinion should never have been launched. i would suggest looking at a more un-biased survey before the jd power one.

    the sales guy said they hadnt released prices yet but said if the SEL is around 30/31K it will be around 5K more

    i asked at a recent lexus vip weekend about the cabriolet no confirmed launch dates but they are expecting it around may/june time. also no confirmed prices but they said expect to be looking at 35/36k

    swfc dan, i called in on sat, it was very strange security gaurd on the gate only letting you in if you had a pass, all the windows blacked out, red carpet on way in and geeeted with a glass of champers, the cars on the forecourt had been reduced betwen £500 and some as much as £2000 they had reduced new ones inside such as the is 250sr for 19k, sales guy said they had a target to sell 14 cars over the weekend and they had done 12 already. wasnt tempted im thinking of hanging on to mine untill april and then getting a boxster or Z4.

    was in my dealers at the weekend they had a sel which had the indicators in the wing mirrors is this standard or is this the new version?

    went into my local lexus centre for the so called vip weekend, whilst there i was told that next year lexus are reducing the number of cars they have to send from 12,000 cars down to 8000 cars, i can only assume its due to lack of demand?

    yep its sheffield, looks like eveyone got one, looks like they are desperate to shift the stock, although they said they were doing very well with sales and it was a lexus GB idea

    yep i no its just a ploy to get me in, my pcp is at a point where i can return the car, to be honest i was thinking and still am of returning the car and using the wifes for a few months, then getting a two seater sports something like the z4 or porsche boxster after christmas just going to call in and see if the offers are too good to be true

    im off to a exclusive vip weekend this saturday, my local dealer is closing to the general public and access is by means of a pass, no pass no entry so i have been told, apparently they are offering cars to selected customers at knock down prices some at less than cost, 0% finance as well as other offers. i believe toyota have laid off 800 uk staff?

    i bet all the people who complained will be watching next week to see what he has to say about it, and then complain that he didnt take the complaints serious, they should just turn over, how do some people manage to get on in life if they complain about every little thing?

    uou should have telephoned accident exchange rather than your own insurance, they would have delivered you a new is and taken yours to lexus for repair, they claim back your excess and any other out of pocket expenses.
