  1. Asbo settings 😉 Slalom for country roads Track for daily driving. I think theres another mode but Its pointless.
  2. Yeah they have gone for a "burnt orange" effect... Personally I prefer the asbo orange, kind of suites the car. Its a shame, I actually think colours like Solar Flare & Azure Blue are very modern and help pull Lexus away from the usual dreary only purchaser. People like bold when it comes to large engine and sporty cars. I just played with the LC Configuration and there wasn't a single colour that made me think "THAT ONE". The Khaki is nice but still a bit muh. Yellow is beautifully bold but why they allow the yellow rather than Solar Flare is beyond me. --- Just looked at a lot more detail on the photos of the orange GSF, hasnt been prepared awfully well. I would want the dealer to fund a full interior and exterior detailing. So many scuff marks from shoes on the inside driver side, the alcantara looks worn aswell
  3. All of the above. No data regarding service history but the post mentions Lexus 10 year warranty so that must mean something ? But the post for it is very lazyily written, its focused more on all the mod - cons and spec, all of which is effectively standard on the car. So I assume this is an attempt to wow BMW buyers. Personally I love the orange and wouldn't be put off by this at all, but have you seen the rates on the company selling it ? They are complete 💩 All the other GSF's that have flown off the shelf have been sold by Lexus dealers who always sub <5% and often have offers as 2.9% as pretty much standard. I do believe its at an overly inflated price but thats because the whole car market is at an inflated price and will be for another 18 months. If i had £40k cash to buy a car would I buy this ? - Potentially id also consider using a chunk of that towards an LC500. And a lot of people are still going electric more so because of the fuel woes and prices. If this was available from the same garage but with a competitive finance offer vs Lexus direct would this have sold by now ? Absolutely I genuinely feel that if Lexus was selling this car they would be selling it for the same price compared to how they have all listed cars the last few months. If this was for sale at a Lexus garage for the same price would I buy it if I was in the market ? 100%
  4. The new Is500 comes with this as standard. Hate chrome around the windows. 😉 Go for it
  5. Regulation and approval numbers apparently https://beranek.agrrmag.com/2013/04/european-codes/
  6. Ironically Ive driven neither but have heard countless times that they feel very different. The two cars are so different aswell one being a sports saloon sleeper the other being a coupe, personally I would go with the RCF. The interior is incredible the seats are out of this world in terms of comfort and bolstering.....BUT!.. The USB UNICORN ISF - Now I love a nice bit of rare factor.... No matter what you buy I think youll end up being happy haha
  7. Lexus Swindon seems to have become the biggest F seller of 2021 by a country mile, and probably the dealer mainly at fault for the current inflation of F cars. They have been buying any and all Fs being sold privately. Yes it's a premium but for how long these premium prices will last is unknown as the chip shortage has made it a seller's market. That ISF is currently about a grand less than I bought a GSF for 12 months ago, the problem is those prices are just gone and probably 2 years before we see normality return. It's a stunning car the blue ISF I would be tempted myself
  8. The used market is stunning right now for sellers but that 1500 is low balled. Highly recommend getting it sorted via a decent non Lexus garage. And if you want to keep running it. If not still get it perfect then sell it, just be aware youll be paying through the nose for something else anyway
  9. I spent today reflecting on my comment that I wrote very late last night. And alas, Im still speechless. I would give my left nut to see one these and I still have no idea how I would react if I was lucky enough to see one in person let alone parked up. I am all so very envious
  10. Good to hear Pete, did you use your existing camera in the end? I am always really happy with the service at Ipswich. The chairs are so comfy in the waiting area aswell.
  11. Considered getting a fuel additive for now while running e10 ? I always ran the GSF on normal fuel but that was before E10. Now days I think id be more inclined for premium, have you tried the sainsburys forecourts ? The premium fuel they use seems to be in good supply and is a good fuel.
  12. Yeah the bloke selling it had previously posted on the forums acting as if he wasn't selling it and trying to be all coy. It is indeed in good nick
  13. Pardon my language by the GS series cars are just bloody stunning
  14. What an interesting exterior colour, I dont believe the photos are doing it justice like most obscure colours. May have to go see one in person.
  15. Glad your happy with it Damian, Cant wait to hear about your drives and seeing loads of photos.
  16. I was perving at that..... If you end up tweaking the exhausts like the OP please share a before and after.
  17. I mean you could always ask the thread creator, pretty sure he was the purchaser. Gives you a decent guide price just send him a message and verify that always worth the ask. F Owners are all quite openish usually, keeps us able to track prices and stuff fairly and often share service or tech queries etc.
  18. If the previous owner is a forum dweller you can attempt to utilise the search function button or potentially another member may know that person, with the lack of response to this thread thus far from the previous owner I doubt it though. Nope, no known issues. One person has had a gearbox issue but that looked to be isolated theres no trend in issues and issues are not often raised at all with any lexus. I to am not often fond of cars unless they are bold and stand out BUT the paintwork with the F family of cars is exceptional, its more of a you have to see it in person on a sunny day to understand how stunning all the colors truly are.
  19. Definitely a growing popularity with the LC500s and Incan completely understand why
  20. A friend of mine has a model X, its nice I just find it lacks personality and I hate the lack of noise that comes with the electric cars. That could be one of the reasons I prefer Hydrogen, the engines can make a sound a burble etc. The instantaneous power of electric cars is great but I feel they lack personality as such. I suppose as time goes on this will change further. And yeah I imagine a fast home charger makes a world of difference. Tell you what though.. I really dont mine the look of the Kia Ev6 it looks different.. and I like that. Lexus does not have IMO even a remotely tempting electric propitiation
  21. Actually just grinned and smiled as I read through this. Spec & colour ?
  22. Should of put a shot of chilli vodka in there also for good measure.
