Having read this post I have been interested in where it does and doesn't work. The only thing I can find with mine is that if approaching the car from the passenger side the key works far better!
Good luck to you all.
They say the first 18 years are the worse, don't believe them it goes on for longer than that!
Does anyone make a Lexus pedal car?
Mine is wired without the ISO connectors, cant remember how many wires but is was only an hours job to fit the whole unit. The thing that took the time was finding a live feed that was not permanent.
If its like my GS MKII then the connections from the amp are behind the glove box. My bluetooth box is located in the passengers foot well and the power comes from the ashtray light. The only thing I can't remember off hand is what colour wire we used for the mute.
Hope that helps.
I have one of the early Parrot kits installed (sorry can't remember the model number) in my GS and I think its superb. I have played music through the phone but it wasn't worth doing (radio code needed). I use it with voice recognition and i get about 98% accuracy on my voice tags. Best to record them in the car with the engine running. Hope that helps.
Sorry can't offer any advice on getting your money back other than going to see him.
