How do you do that then?:?: If the boot keyslot is vertical, you can open it from the internal release. If you use the key and turn it anti-clockwise so the slot is horizontal, you can only use the key/remote to open it. I've had my car for nearly 3 yrs, and I didn't know that either!! Might come in useful one day.

I don't have that problem with my after market SatNav. There is an option to switch the safemode off if I want the passenger to operate. Usual disclaimers are displayed.

Andy, To be honest I filled up with it for the 1st time when I re-fuelled last, and I can't say I noticed any difference! It's my first time of using it since I got the car 2.5yrs ago, so will try about 3 more tank's full. At the moment the MPG seems to be the same.

The IS300 has an autogear box. One of our Supercharged IS200 has posted a time of 0-62 in 6.6 sec, so you can get good times if you want. I also looked at the Accord Type R when I was buying my car, but chose the Lexus because of the Image/Rareness and it's good residual value. In the long run you have to decide what you want from your car.

My car has just been returned from the Lexus dealer with new alloys replaced under warranty and is looking cool. Just hoping my Peco BB4 exhaust arrives b4 friday and I'll be set. See you all there.

I have a light in the boot of my IS200SE, I believe this is standard in the UK?

It looks so bad compared to the ones I've seen on the members gallary, anyway I'll get some opinions next weekend, for now I keep my hands away from all paintbrushes. Maybe I'm just a little paranaoid, but I don't want to let the club down. What was our motto again? Something ....... Perfection:lol:

Not wanting to be left out, I went down to Halfords and bought me self some Red caliper paint, axle stands and a brush. I have now painted the front calipers and totally messed it up! Sorry Guys, but there always has to be a black sheep in the family, so when I turn up on Saturday with the worst painted calipers on the their Lexus PLEASE don't all have a go at me. I have given up, and will not even attempt the rear calipers. Have mercy on me! I don't have a digital camera, so can't show you the bad Job.

I think shieldnj was refering to the orange light, I have never seen a red light, even when I had only 4 liters left the last time.
