Take everything out of the boot and look in there for water coming from the rear light units. Problems occur when the water moves forward to the batteries. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I live in Stockport too. Same car and colour as well! I used Prestige Wheels a few years ago to do my RX alloys. Did a great job but can’t remember the cost. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yes, mine is the facelift. These were pictures were taken from the 2008 brochure that was in my car when I bought it. But still not exactly right as I had everything plus the rear blind that's not even listed for my model. I think they just crammed as many cars as they could get on the boat from Japan then worked out the specs after they arrived
The base model GS before 2008 had fabric seats. Post 2008 was a confusing time in spec changes. My 300 SE came with ML, rear blind, AVS, VDIM, parking sensors and 17" wheels as standard.
The first one in Manchester has been for sale for some time. I’ve went to see it when I was looking for a 430. Just not tidy enough for me. Ended up getting a mint newer 300 in end and don’t regret it one bit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Great buy. You will love it. I’ll never forget my time around the Ascari circuit in a RCF. You can really throw these around. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Never known any problems with carbon build up in the UK. Like you say 200k is no problem for the GS300. You might get a sticky rear brake calliper and rusted exhaust but that's about it.
About right at 12 years for an oxygen sensor to go. Same as most Toyota engines. Easy job, £50 pre CAT, £30 post CAT but should have no problems getting it done under warranty.
Think it’s 18” wheels, cooled seats and sunroof. Non hybrid have a normal 6 speed auto, and a very good one it is too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
