Yep Broadband and I can't wait.....so sick of dial-up.

Ordered it from Pipex as a neighbour of mine recently got his and seems a satisfied customer.

Any Pipex customers on here...are you happy with it

(twotone thinks, I hope they bloody are I just jumped in and ordered it without posting first )

Forgot to mention Pipex is £23.44 a month and you a pay one off £17.54 for your modem and 2 micro-filters(I thats the name for them)

You won't regret getting broadband :winky: my mate is with pipex and seems happy enough. I found a few LOC members who use pipex here

funny enough i am with BT.. although Pipex use the BT network my brother who lives 1 mile away now and again his connection drops... same goes for my mate who has a 2mb for his company through easynet... again these tend to fail more than the actual BT connection.

All DSL suppliers (AOL, demon, pipex etc) use BT network and then the traffic is routed into the suppliers network. All the supplier is doing is giving you the value added stuff like web space, email addresses, technical support etc.

I have been using Pipex for over a year now and have no complaints, The only time is has been down is when there is a BT network fault so it would affect any ISP.

I don't think it really matters. Whoever you feel happy with that offer at a good price. I'm with BT openworld and don't have any problems although there are cheaper providers.
