Heated steering wheel

Recommended Posts

I have the heated steering wheel.  I tested on another car a heated steering wheel and it got very warm

Can anyone tell me, is the steering wheel on the RX supposed to get more than tepid?  I know its just at the sides but its barely warm.

Mine doesn't get as warm as the one in my 2019 RC300h did but that said it's warm enough to take the chill from the wheel and warm my hands after clearing the windscreen of frost.

Bear in mind if one switches on the rear window and exterior mirror defogger the steering wheel heating is suspended.

I don't have the heated wheel on my mid range F sport GS4 but its certainly a lot warmer to the touch in the winter than on my GS3 that was sooo cold it felt like bare metal on a winters morning.

I'd say comfortably warm not tepid, but certainly not baking hot.

Mine is warm enough but not hot...also unlike someone mentioned above it still works when you also have the rear screen and mirror heating on too.
