off topic, but regarding courtesy calls from Lexus.

I asked Lexus Edgware to keep me informed when they found a Lexus for me, at the spec i wanted. For the first 3 months, they were very polite always referring to me as "Mr Popat". Then when i said that I would like to wait till the new plates come out in March, the sales guy sounded upset and annoyed. I couldn't help the fact that my finances did not allow me to purchase the lex at the time.

Anyway, they have not been in touch with me since. I guess they think I was wasting their time. One thing I will not be doing is buying from the dealers, as i dont want them to get any commission. I will also park my gleeming clean lexus outside their showroom once i get it, just to peev them off.

they guy i think named "javad" spoke with me. we discussed the reason i would wait till the new plates came out, as the older ones would drop slightly in price, and that i wouldn't mind waiting a while longer.

anyhow, off to the trade centre this weekend... :D
