Hi Peeps!!!

My name is Justin and i am looking to buy an IS200SE Auto within the next few weeks.I am currently in the process of selling both my Ford Focus's to fund this and am looking forward to driving a luxury brand again.

I had an IS200 SE,(and was a member of this club at the time)18 months ago and foolishly sold it,and have regreted it for most of that time.

Soooo im on the look out for a nice example with 50-60k on the clock for around the 7-8k price range,they are out there,just waiting to sell my Foci's first,1 down 1 to go :)

Look forward to chipping in when i can...is there any meets in the North East?

Im considering changing my focus TDCI for an IS200... but im worried about performance and running costs?

welcome back justin, you'll be able to pop along to some of the northern meets when we have them, often we join TOC as they have a fair few northern meets.

I have a Zetec 1.6 with EGR bodykit and TSW Relex 17's,and a standard LX for the school run :whistling:

Yes im in FFOC,not active though,not a good experience in there for me,but i am quite into FOC,friendly bunch there B)

I am coming back because it can't be more expensive to run 1 luxury exec car than 2 Foci and i pass them regularly round my way and think.....Damn i wish i had one again.

I love the brand,the styling,the equipment levels,they are everything B*W wish to be and the JD Power surveys back this up year after year.I can't wait to get back in one,i have my eye on one but haven't rang up for it yet as knowing my luck i'll not sell the Foci quick enough and it will go Here it is http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/WWW/cars_...rch_full=SEARCH

If you need any convincing pop into your local Lexus dealership and compare the service to your local Ford dealer.

I love my Foci and drive it with pride but there is no comparison in the brands B)

I have just become the owner of a lexus sport(navigator) and compared to my escort gti there is no comparrison :P

I couldnt stop smiling driving it back on the motorway :D

As for running costs i dont think there is that much difference between the 1.8 and the 2.0

Trying to get rid of my modded gti now as well!!

I have spent most of the day trawling through sites to find what i want. :duh: Anyone know of any good sites to find a used Lexus other than Autotrader,Exchange&Mart or Fish4 ?

I have put my other Foci on a 7 day auction on E-Bay today (if anyone wants to have a peep!!)

Hope i can get a buyer soon so i don't feel like a visitor to this club for long :whistling:

Well i have just drove for nearly 6 hours today to have a look at and place my deposit on the lexus im buying.Hopefully i will be the owner by the beginning of next week,i can't wait.

It's a Sapphire blue Is200se auto with rear spoiler and parking sensors on a v plate.It has 108k on the clock and flsh,and best of all it has 5 months warranty left,all for £7100 :driving:

I am one happy but tired bunny !!

Welcome back :D (Though before my time :P)

Car looks nice from the pics (especially the gold  :whistling: ). What kind of warrenty does it come with? Is it a manufacturers extended one?

It is a private purchase,however the person im getting it off bought it from Lexus in Sheffield 7 months ago and needs to sell to fund his wedding and expensive honeymoon :winky:

So it still has 5 months left,to which i believe is transferable :D

there is an IS200 SE in platinum ice with a black leather and alcantara interior in tip top mint condition for less than £8k round the corner from me!

its done about 50k miles and is realy realy mint! its in kent but to save yourself on about 58k more miles on the clock it would be worth a train down and drive back!

Thanks for the offer mate but i am commited to this one now,8k was over my budget,and most of all im very happy with it.I had a platnum ice last time and wanted the blue this time.The fact that it had parking sensors and had just been owner by a dealership meaning it is pristine,were a big bonus :driving:

I quite like the gold badging aswell :winky:
