The New Supra?

Here's what the above 'Best Car' magazine says:

The cover says "New Supra'

2UR-FSE is a 5.0L V8 boasting 450ps and a hefty 519Nm of torque which is touted as the new Supra engine

1UR-FSE is to power the LS460 and is, surprise, a 4.6L V8 with around 350ps

2GR-FSE is the 3.5L V6 which is already in the new IS350 so not all that interesting

They reckon the new Supra will be around 1,400kg, and based on the new IS platform.

Personally i like the look of it, which is strange cause every new car that has come out recently looks **** *******.

Over at TOC we believe thats the new Soarer :)

why -

1 - Its using V8's, Supras have always been straight 6 engines.

2 - Its available as hardtop and convertible just like soarers have been and there has never been a convertible supra

3 - The current soarer is coming to the end of its life.

4 - Toyota has ditched th Supra name

Im very keen on getting one though when they come out whatever they call it, but would have to be the more powerful model of course with a hard top

and the soarers will be badged as lexus I thought from now on

All in all then, the Toyota line up of sporty/exciting cars looks bleak!

nope...looks nowt liek design...that and its a lexus, you cant exactly call a totally different car a new version.
